I will only consider Tennis to be equal the day Women plays 5 sets as Men.
Sports like swimming come to mind... women can get very close to men's times in this sport.
E sports and chess: probably another one but males still seem to have the edge here as well.
You do realize right that your statement can be fact-checked within 2 secs?
So let´s compare women and men on 50m, 100m, and 400m
50m Men 20.91 - Women 23,67 / 100m Men 46,91 - Women 51,71 / 400m Men 3:40.07 - Women 3:56.46
So I don´t know if you know a lot about this sport, but those times are nowhere close to each other. Sure these are WR and results of peak conditions from the athletes. But let´s take the last World cup in swimming here 50m´s winner for men was 21.49 and for women, it was 23.83
Lol, I wasn't expecting so much resistance to this...
I'm not saying that women are faster than men in swimming, only that relative to other sports they fare pretty well in this sport.
Now I do happen to know a thing or two about swimming and let me tell you 23.83s for 50m freestyle or 51.71s for 100m is one hell of a time that only a professional male swimmer could top.
I was literally only answering the title of the thread which is "what sports do you feel women are the most equal at to men?"
@sakaixx: even then its no were near eqaul, the difference in qaulity in the men's game compared to the womens is massive.
Ive explained early in this thread the gulf in class that has been displayed in professional level.
However it's just as big a gulf in qaulity at ametuer and social levels.
When playing mixed doubles if you get your first serve in when serving to the female it ain't coming back.
The guy who said archery is probably most accurate. Target shooting was what I thought of.
Gymnastics and ice skating great answers too.
There are quite a few I bet that we are not thinking of. I looked up long jumps and pole vaulting but... no. Ice skating is a great pick and any type of dance maybe? Diving? Gymnastics is a weird one. They make men and women do different types of gymnastics in the Olympics. I'm not sure, but I think the best men and women are pretty 'even' at gymnastics in the sense that they both have things they excel at.
Modern archery maybe? But they do tend to limit the men's bow weight if it's a mixed tournament so...
