The Matrix.

No matter how amazing first movie was. its sequels suck so much that ruined its legacy. both reloaded and revolution were garbage.

I thought Reloaded was pretty decent but I agree Revolution was flat out garbage.

The Last Jedi. Killed everything they worked so hard to build in 7 main line movies plus so much more. Some movies I dislike but I truly hate the Last Jedi.

Suicide Squad. I mean, it wasn't the worst comic book movie out their, but it was a really rush film that never got it right, misleading the Joker will be the biggest thing in the film but it turn out it wasn't the case, and the pacing was all over the place. Suicide Squad getting a sequel now, it doesn't need it.

Warner bros seems to be going all in on the Marvel craze.

And in the process ruining a lot of great characters and stories.

I didn't have an issue with Jared Leto's Joker, in fact, I think it should have just been a Joker/Harley movie (they seemed like the only personalities in the film that stood out). And being the first big-screen debut of Harley Quinn, I think Margot Robbie did a really good job. But damn, there was a lot of fluff characters that didn't need to even be in there, that it just muddied the whole experience.

Probably a lot of fans might disagree with me, but I don't think Neon Genesis Evangelion: Rebuild was even remotely necessary.

The most recent throw away sequels i have seen in recent memory were the reboots for Ninja Turtles and Jurassic Park. Do i wish they never existed? It makes no difference but i was amazed, given the budgets, how lousy they were.

George of the Jungle 2. Worst movie sequel ever. The only funny bit was explaining why they didn't cast Brendon Fraser.

I'm glad that Evangelion 2.0 happened, as that's my favourite movie/episode in the franchise. As for Evangelion 1.0 and 3.0... yeah, there's really no need for them. 1.0 is mostly just a repeat of the TV series, and 3.0 is an epic troll of a movie (like the TV series' ending). But from a business perspective, Rebuild was at least good marketing for the billions in merchandise/karaoke/pachinko money that Evangelion rakes in Japan. So it was necessary in that sense.
