I am currently learning French threw self-study. I've taken Spanish I & II and Japanese I in my middle and high school years. I chose French because it sounds cooler (than Spanish at least) to speak and it's nice to write :) What are you learning or want to learn?

I wish I could comprehend why Spanish is such a hard language to learn, I was never 'taught' and I'm flaunt in it. Though I guess it's because I lived 1/4 mile from the Mexican border for eight years.

It's that it'll be difficult for me because I took Spanish II and III freshman year, and due to a change of major, I have to go to Spanish IV during senior year. Sorry I'm not a natural.

What's the difficulty you have? I still have issues comprehending accents, grammar, and mistranslations amongst dialects.
Would like to learn many languages. I already know a little Spanish. I'm used to hearing it around here, so I decided to get the Pimsleur Approach to learn more. I know a little Chinese and a little Japanese, but I couldn't have a conversation using them.
Italian. I have a French first name and Italian last name, so people expect me to speak one of the two. I can speak a bit of French, but not enough to have a conversation. They're both romance languages so once I know most of one, I can probably adapt and learn multiple.
I always wanted to learn Italian and Portgugese, French is cool I took a year of it haha, 4 years of Spanish, learning new languages is definitely rewarding :)

So true. Bilingual speakers don't know how much they're envied for that reason. I'm glad that I'm not bilingual. I can choose the language that I want to learn, rather than the language that the rest of my family can speak.
I'd like to be more fluent in Khmer so it would be easier to communicate with relatives and family friends. Spanish so it would look good on my resume...

lol, I am part Danish so yeah that's why I want to learn that and also because of a friend I have.
