I know nothing about cameras, and I need your help. I want a camcorder ranging from $100-$200, and I don't want it to be one of those cameras that records things to DVD right after you record it. I want to upload them to my computer through a USB cord. Any suggestions or links?

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to get a good HD camcorder for anything like that money.

And plus HD camcorders suck, they take up ridiculous amounts of storage space and you can only watch them on HDTV's

wow only 1-200 dollars. Thats a tuff one. You can get a cheap Digital Concepts Camcorder but the image quality sucks and there is no zoom (or very little zoom).

And if you get an actual camcorder, Sony, Panosonic etc, you can't upload video via USB, you have to use Firewire. No other choice.
