300/30 with a 1TB per month cap on a cable modem.
I would kill to get Google Fiber.
16 Mb :( I generally download at 3 MB per second. I'm not complaining, I know a lot of people have it worse, I just wish we had it faster.
BTW I had no idea there was a "MB" for megabyte and "Mb" for megabit. That is so god damn misleading...
Just ran a speed test. Got 310 mbps down and 19 mbps up. I embarrassingly forget what speeds I'm actually paying for.
just tested at 61.8 / 35.8 pretty far from my router.
i don't remember what i'm actually paying for though.
i don't download tons of shit like i used to so i haven't cared about overall bandwidth in years. streaming has always worked ( 4K included ) so it's never been an issue. starting to feel like any other utility like water or electricity. when was the last time you cared how many amps you get from your power company?
I pay for 250/250 But right now, when lots of people stay home I don't get that bandwidth by a long shot. Don't know if I should call my ISP and complain...
At night however I seem to get a more correct bandwidth. I was downloading the Last Of Us Part 2 yesterday, started downloading at around 5 pm and it averaged around 1-2 MB/s. Got to bed at 11pm and it still had 80GB left to download. When I turned on my PS4 today I could see that the game was downloaded and installed at 1:58 AM
