What is the last movie you saw in theaters?

I think mine is Joker.

Considering this COVID, do you think you'd go back to movie theaters, if they even exist by the end of this?

The idea of eating buttery popcorn in theaters full of laughing, coughing, and talking people just doesn't appeal to me.

Although there is a good old independent movie theater in town. I hope it stays alive. They are streaming films to stay alive.

As for a movie Signs 2002 and no I'm not joking but I did see Fahrenheit 9/11 2004 in a theater and that was the last time. I was planning to see A Quiet Place 2 in the theaters this year but yeah.. that's not happening.

Rise of Skywalker, which was the worst of all eleven live action Star Wars movies. I rarely went before the pandemic. Shit, 95 percent of the movies I watch are old or at least were not released in the last couple of years. Modern Hollywood bores me. Most of the new ones I do watch I have no interest in revisiting.

I think so. Hard to remember.

I like to get to the theater a couple of times a month. It isn't really about seeing the movie, its about building an evening out around seeing a movie. We usually eat at a nice place before the movie, go to the movie, and then go hang out and shoot some pool or something.

Was a few movies I was looking forward to seeing this summer but hell, doesn't look like its gonna happen.

The last movie I saw on the big screen was the Pixar movie Onward. That was literally on the cusp of the shutdown.

I saw Die Hard 4 years earlier. It was ok, but I don't watch movies or tv anymore. If I watch a tv it's the local news. I only use my tv for games obviously.

Me too it seems to have gotten much worst since the whole super hero craze.

@warmblur: Oh god, screw superheroes. I can think of so many action movie, sci fi and fantasy classics that likely would never have been made in this shit era of spandex and capes. Seems there are also fewer big budget dramas.

Jojo Rabbit. Movie theaters have been open here for a couple of months now but naturally there are no new releases so I see no reason to visit one. And if I did, it would be on a weekday to avoid crowds.

Sonic the Hedgehog was the last thing I saw in Theaters and Sonic itself is lucky to be out and get the rewards just right before Theaters started to close up shop in the middle of March.

Edit: I did had plants to go see Troll: World Tour but that ended up coming to digital home, so no biggie.
