I actually did a report in my public speaking class on roaches which was very informative. I learned a lot about the little bastards. That being said, I hate them with a passion and would be completely satisfied if they all burned to death in hell

Definitely roaches. Spiders aren't inherently disgusting. Just a little creepy sometimes. Roaches on the other hand... I guess it's not so much that the roaches themselves are disgusting, as it is that if you're seeing roaches indoors, there's probably something disgusting attracting them.

I would and did touch spiders.

and I once accidently chew a fry cockroaches (inside a streetfood noodle ) .... and it taste like fried chicken egg with shell. I kinda like it actually

I think I've never seen a cockroach before, so spider wins by default.

I had fried cockroaches on holiday same with crickets, nothing really bothers me. Maybe in a deep ocean with a great white shark would.

If I look at the poll results, cockroaches are really something to fear. But strictly on pictures, cockroaches don't give me the "startle" factor like a spider does.

I voted spiders, but only because I've never actually seen a cockroach in real life (seriously), but we've had a fair few spiders in the house and some of them have been massive.

If a roach makes the mistake of letting me see it, it will suffer a thousand deaths before I pour boiling water on it to snuff out its sorry existence.

I'm gonna say Cockroaches just because there so fat. The ones at my work run so fast its ridiculous. Im sure there a fast Spiders but Ive never seen one that fast in person.

Spiders serve a vital purpose by killing other insects and eating them.

I've never been revolted by the sight of a spider. They're weird and creepy but I wouldn't ever describe them as gross.

Cockroaches are synonymous with filth and decay. Seeing one instantly puts you on edge about the cleanliness of the environment. A restaurant with a cockroach in it is a lot worse than a restaurant with a spider in it.
