its not really us blaming them, its the truth. rich people set the system up, they give us our jobs, pay our wages, set the prices for our goods, basically telling us how to live. unless you get lucky and manage to be great in something that makes you alot of money.

Minimum wage is not meant to be a liveable wage. One needs training, experience and certification to make a liveable wage.

and how are you suppose to get that training if you cant go to school because you have to work 2 jobs just to pay your fucking rent?

Work more. I've done 120 hour weeks.

If they work 70 hour weeks they can still go to school, they just have to sacrifice free time.

who the **** wants to live like that? i'd kill myself if i had to do that. your only purpose in life is to go to work and/or school? **** that.

If you aren't willing to work to improve yourself, then you're not going to improve.

It's like you want these people to just get hand outs.

They can get themselves out of what they're in now, it just takes work. Key word being work.

yup during the best years of your life and then you look back at your life, you got what you wanted but at what cost? you put in all this hard work when you could have been living life instead. now you wish you hadn't worked so hard and had more fun but it's too late now cause you're to old. "you have bettered yourself, you are in a better place now."

So basically you're saying people shouldn't work hard; I'm reading that you expect people to just get hand outs and "live" instead of working hard to move up in life.

Let's be honest, if you work minimum wage beyond your early 20s, then you really fucked up. Actions in life do have consequences.

I bet you work minimum wage.

A mufti-faceted set of issues ranging from societal to political.

  • Broadening gap between the rich and poor, including the ultra-rich paying almost no taxes via loopholes and off-shore banking.
  • Sacrifice of freedoms for "safety".
  • Racism and general discrimination against outsiders and those who are "different" (amongst most communities). The "melting pot" isn't working.
  • Focus of spending on military rather than science and medicine.
  • Inability to generate meaningful and lasting jobs for the citizenry rather than outsourcing to China.
  • Public education generating students only capable of the bare minimum and not given the tools to succeed in life.
  • Militarization of the police and low standards for hiring (creating a lot of bad eggs ruining the show for everyone else).
  • Republicans (i.e. social conservatism).
  • Religion making it into politics and almost every facet of the government that it shouldn't be in.

Too state a few problems.

I was watching fox news recently and most of these are false.

@xeno_ghost: Look at the Michael Brown incident a good example of political correctness. The news media won't tell the whole story because it does not fit the narrative they want to tell.

@JimB: I don't know if I agree with that or if I even understand what you mean. The media have been drip fed info and have relayed any received info to the public, as soon as. What is it you think they are holding back? Only the cops seem to be holding back the full story.

not quite but i did **** up. all im saying is people should be able to go to school and pay their rent without working to much so they can still have fun and do things they should be doing while they are young.

You do realize people who work minimum wage jobs have to work twice as many hours and sometimes even more than one job to afford rent, to pay bills, gas, food ect ect than those "hard workers" who only work 40 hours a week.

Increasing minimum wage isn't gonna make people lazy, it's actually gonna provide people who can't get a dream job, a bachelors ect ect and people don't want to get into even more debt by going to college an actual way of living instead of being homeless or can't afford anything cause the inflation is so fraked in NA.

There's over 528 million people in North America so I don't know where you get this idea where everyone is gonna get their "dream job" or a high paying job cause it simply doesn't exist.

World Banking Cartel and the NWO. The elite has robbed the world wealth.

FEMA is the real government behind the government.

In this day and age its hard to believe that people still think this is conspiracy theories with all thats happening since 9/11 ( Inside Job)

Also the more technology employers start using the more jobs will be lost. Take digital games, the more game shops close the more jobs will be lost.

System has to collapse at some point soon, its been hanging there for some time now, it cannot sustain itself much longer.

Are you saying porn, music, games, are the reasons for killings? Or are you saying they are considered the killers when guns are the real culprit? Sex, Music, games are all stress reductions, they are not killing instruments.

The problem with this is that everyone CAN'T do this. And even if they did, then the vast majority of them STILL wouldn't be able to find a job because there simply aren't enough good jobs available. There are more people graduating from college now than ever before, and a lot of them are still working menial jobs because simply getting qualified doesn't mean there's gonna be a job created. "Just work harder" may be good advice to give to one specific dude, but it's not any kind of solution to any nation wide problems. The jobs simply aren't there, and they still aren't gonna be there even if everyone worked 120 hours a week in order to get training and qualification.
