I just ordered 3 Marvel Epic Collections: Daredevil, Silver Surfer and Iron Man. They cover comics from the 80's and early 90's.

Husky is pretty old now, wanna make sure she's properly insulated.

Massdrop x Sennheiser 6XX, with the amp/DAC Massdrop sells. Nice upgrade over my five-year-old Sennheiser HD 558. I'm gonna keep them inside the box, because I don't want the ear foamies getting all encrusted with dust again. I'd been interested in the HD 650 for a while and then read the 6XX is basically the same thing but much cheaper.
I ordered V for Vendetta 30th Anniversary Edition like three weeks ago and it's still stuck in my city. I'm considering calling DHL ECOMMERCE.
"Your item arrived at a shipping partner facility at 4:15 am on December 30, 2019 in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date."
Picked up the revised Switch with the better battery life just after Christmas. Makes a huge difference.
Also bought a spice grinder as well as a few games from Amazon. Most notably Pokemon Shield. Haven't played a mainline 3D Pokemon game since X/Y so will be good to get back into the series especially with the DLC.
extra piece for my couch. i guess that counts.

This year I got a whole lot of computer stuff. Most recently, I got a Buttkicker for my cockpit which is pretty sweet. It's an amp that hooks to a motor that you can clamp to your seat that runs off of the Subwoofer channel and kicks in when your system outputs a low enough freq (you can adjust the threshold and intensity).
I bought a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka and a 2L bottle of milk. I already had orange juice at home. The milk is for my Frosted Flakes tomorrow morning. The Vodka is for the odd night to unwind.
I got one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/Swift-PG27UQ-G-SYNC-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B07F1VGGLK/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=asus+rog+swift+4k+monitor&qid=1579020779&s=electronics&sr=1-1
And two of these: https://smile.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-X27-bmiphzx-Monitor/dp/B07CWDBL39
@Byshop: I was going to comment that those monitors looked expensive... Then I remember the cost of my main and secondary ones...
The center one is Asus's flagship 27" and yeah, it was a bit. It was like 2k when it first was released but I got it after a drop. 4k 27" HDR1000 Gsync 144hz. The two Acers are just cheaper versions of the same, because getting three of those Asus would be ridiculous since they aren't the focal point most of the time.

Mine cost the equivalent of $1300 and $700.
4K and 144Hz, that requires some power to pull. I got the lg 34gk950f. 3440*1440 34' 144Hz. AMD's freesync, not nivida's option, and I got a RTX2080. Still very pleased with it. At least no screen tearing.

That's what mine cost now. At the time I paid $1500 and $900. I'm running dual 2080TIs (also bought this year), although not ever came supports SLI these days unfortunately. The ones that do, though...
I refreshed my benchmarks in the sticky last week.

Even I could never see myself building a PC like that! That's beyond my limitation.

If one is a little patient when it comes to monitors, it is a lot to save.
A shame with the lack of support for SLI. I could go that route if I get another 2080 second hand.

That Asus launched at $2000, so at the time $1500 was a pretty good deal. I've seen it at Microcenter on sale as low as $1,100 briefly.

If you like Smirnoff, try New Amsterdam.
Nothing exciting, just half and half jar of Maxwell House coffee. Can't afford anything to extravagant, I live alone with no girl friend and no friends. Family has their own lives and live pay by pay with basically little or nothing left over. Life gets harder as you get older, not easier. I go to a lot more funerals than weddings or anything else anymore. Didn't think life was like this for some. I realize not everyone goes through the same as I.
I just preordered Eminem's new album "Music to Be Murdered By" on CD from his website. I would have waited for it to hit retailers, but it has a limited edition album cover that I thought was much better than the regular cover. I guess I got suckered.
Installed a bias light for my TV a week ago. Is there any proof this is healthier for the eyes? Because my films are more cinematic without.
Also, V for Vendetta arrived. I didn't have to call the carrier after all.
Too sick to read it right now.
I got two different Animorph audiobooks from Audible. I'm incredibly excited to see people potentially resurrect this series. It's getting a series of graphic novels later this year.
I got a Chromecast for our living room TV. Very convenient thingy.
Ah yes, one of my most used devices in my living room.
@ezekiel43: how do you like those kinds of headphones. The open-back style or whatever? How far does the noise carry?
My Fostex T50RP just took a dump on me so I am looking for another pair. Before them I had a cheaper pair of Sennheisers that I also liked. Setting my budget to 200 or so.
Nice DAC and amp btw. I have a Schitt setup myself, DAC and amp. Feel bad because it's not getting used (swapped over to my Arctis 7 wireless, which are good for gaming but not music)
@ezekiel43: No idea what a bias light is?
LED strips around the back of the TV. The white light is supposed to improve perceived contrast and make the picture easier on the eyes in the dark. I'm doubting the first.

The whole set cost me 323 dollars (including a 20 dollar first time discount) on drop.com.
I can hear them outside my room with the door closed. It's quiet outside the room, but it would drive me crazy having someone listen to them in the same room while I'm sleeping. My Sennheiser HD 558 was also open-back. I like these kinds of headphones.
Speaking of money, I just did my taxes and am so glad this year doesn't have the health care penalty (for not having insurance). My refund is gonna be about 700 dollars more than last year.
Good sugar substitute, also keto friendly if you're into that.

Picked up a new figure for my desk at work: a NECA Alien Queen figure:
Normal price for it was $120, but a toy store at a nearby mall had a 50% sale recently, and had to snag it. Just another item to add to my collection at work:
Got a few Ghostbuster themed Transformers figures and Michael Myers figure from the recent Halloween movie.
I want that Ecto 1 transformer so bad!!!
I was lucky enough to get it--it was a Gamestop exclusive, and I didn't reserve it initially. They just happen to have one extra, and I happened to have the cash on me--although $50 is not too expensive compared to a lot of the collectable Transfomers figures out there, it's still not cheap either.
