What happened to GameSpot fuse?

I left GameSpot for about two months. My favorite aspect of it was GameSpot Fuse, the Facebook-like gaming community. I just came back and it's gone. What happened?!

wasnt there long enough to be, they put it in right after they decided to pull the plug on the entire site

everything went to pot yar.

Gamespot decided to take it away just like everything else we loved on here.

It was crappy, so I'm not surprised they didn't keep it. It wouldn't make this site any better.

The majority of users never used it but its did have a group of people who used the feature almost exclusively.

It was there for a few of years before it was removed. It was only supposed to be an experiment of some kind. It became just popular enough that GS decided to keep it.
