I'd say they mean she is a whore.GazaAli
a whore requires money, I'm not talking about prostitution. The phrase literally makes no sense.
When a girl doesn't respect herself/ her body, usually means she has either no confidence and trys to make herself feel better by sleeping with lots of people. Or she uses her body for personal gain, i.e sleeps with people for drinks at a bar, or something along those lines.

sleeping with people should make someone feel better, I don't see how that takes respect from yourself.

As in not sleeping with just 1 person, sleeping with many more than what people would consider normal in order to keep up self confidence.
A key that unlocks many locks is a master key. A lock that any key can unlock is a s**** lock. That's why.it means she acts like every man would, but somehow its wrong because shes female :P

...no, a hooker requires money. a whore will sleep around even if she has nothing to gain (other than sexual pleasure). It harkens back to a time when women were more property and less people. Men expected their brides to be pure when the men themselves were not. kind of hypocritical.

Touche. Keys (Men) are objects too though.A girl who is sexually promiscuous. I've always found it to be a leap of faith and somewhat hypocritical of people to say that, though, since they are assuming that the girl in question is doing it for favours/popularity/.etc but they never ever level this criticism against males.
the pharse was true only if the said girl didn't care who she was sleeping with, being unrespectful to your body has nothing to do with the number of ppl you get laid with.

They don't have much self-esteem.
It doesn't always been she's a whore. Then again, I think the characteristic is loose in that most people would characterize another just because of one incident.
it usually means she doesn't live up to a set of standards impossed on her by a group of judgemental people
It's what people say when a girl doesn't comply to super conservative standards towards herself. Esp. clothing and sexual attitudes. It honestly means close to nothing because people are allowed to do what they want and behave how they wish. It has nothing to do with "respecting oneself". Moreso, people being upset and wanting to have their 2 cents. You'll usually hear the "respect" comment from 40+ married women wearing long skirts and coveralls.
