He's just going to do nothing. Seems to be all he has (or hasn't) done durning his second term.limpbizkit818

[QUOTE="btaylor2404"]Try to push thru this latest offshore drilling proposal to help McCain. Gas prices may be the only fear agenda the country will buy from the moron now.buxboyWhat is the problem with offshore drilling? Do you not want lower gas prices?
do you really think gas prices will ever be lower than they are now? Finding new oil will only result in one thing: it will let oil companies exploit us for longer than if we did not get more oil.
The best thing that can happen to us is for oil to be gone in three years. The companies will take their money, get a swift kick in the ass from mother earth, and start working on the dozens of worthy fuel alternatives we have. let the rest of the world fight for oil while the US pioneers alternatives, thats what I think.
anyway, bush wont do anything I dont think. To be quite honest, I think that he will be forgotten very soon.
[QUOTE="SpaceMoose"]I mean aside from the obligatory pardons. Be creative.buxboyCare to explain these, "Obligatory Pardons?"
Uh, like this and this and this. It's likely there will be quite a few made right at the end of his term, as it seems to be standard procedure now. Apparently Reagan only ever pardoned one person, so I'm not sure what that says about the Bushes and Clintons...

Thanks, the drilling won't help gas prices one bit for 10 years or more. And at the price it could cost to extract it, it may be more expensive than we are paying now. Now is the time to get off our oil addiction.

I wanted to know if you were talking about the Border Patrol Agents, or not.Anyways, to talk about the offshore drilling opponents. If you ask me, oil is a perfectly viable source of energy. We have 3 times the amount of oil SA has here in the US. Why not drill for it, and lower the price? The technology we have today would enable us to get at and use the oil much faster for less than ever before. If you are going to use the idea of global warming to counter me, please explain why over 30,000 scientists have signed a petition rejecting global warming? When Al Gore only used 2500 scientists to push his Global Warming pseudoscience. http://www.heartland.org/Article.cfm?artId=23387.

So, this thread has devolved, from a ridiculously slanted question, to a pool of people making fun of Bush.
Don't get me wrong, Bush really has screwed a lot of things up, like the border, but just take a look at the topic that draws in people who are against him.

No, actually, the thread was making fun of Bush from the start.
I'm guessing he'll have to ask who got elected president, and then talk about how successful the person that DIDNT become president will be
( all by accident, ofcourse :P )
