The place where I live is REALLY boring. Hardly any movies come here, no arcades, no fun stuff like go karting, mini golf, etc. So today I was trying to think of the things I actually like about it, and I came up with this:

1. During the summer, it stays light until about midnight, and darkness only lasts for about 4 hours. That's pretty cool.

2. Summer and winter, if it's a clear enough night, you can see the northern lights, which are beautiful.

3. Summer doesn't last TOO long. The temperature has dropped from about 20 degrees Celsius to 10 degrees Celsius in the past 3 weeks, but I don't mind that, because fall is my favorite season. I prefer crisp, cold days to overly warm ones.

4. It actually snows around Christmas time, which I enjoy. I went to Mexico for Christmas one year and it just wasn't the same.

I like that the air is clear and it smells nature-like around here instead of smelling like old fast food and cigarettes. It's quiet too... That's nice.

Well, unless I'm horribly mistaken for some odd reason, I believe that would be the Calgary Stampede?

Well...I live in Fargo, ND. Overall it's as dull as it sounds, but I'm a fan of the winters. I'm in the minority, but I love the brutally cold winters with tons of snow. I also really like the friendly people... and that's about it. It's a nice place to live, and I like feeling secure. I mean, I can walk around downtown at 3 AM on a Saturday and still feel okay, that's how safe it is here. I'm really tired of it now, though...

I like the place where I live because I can lock myself in my dorm room all day and post on gamespot and play video games all day when I'm not in class.

To be honest, I live in a very wealthy area so it is very clean. Sometimes when I visit relatively less wealthier cities I feel really uncomfortable; yeah, I sound like a preppy rich white kid or something.

On the other hand, most teens around hereARE preppy white rich kids around here and they are snobby, loud, and annoying. (I'm asian)

Well, Denver is a pretty large city so there is always something to do. The surrounding areas are pretty beautiful, we love our sports teams, and the weather is great. We have very hot summers (breaking 100 degrees at times) and very cold winters (regularly dropping below 0 degrees). But I don't much like the people. In recent years we've had a lot of people moving here from California, Mexico, and the East Coast. Normally I wouldn't have an issue with that, but it's getting to the point where you have to be bilingual to order a hamburger and people keep stealing my grandmother's "John McCain" yard signs. It's almost a crime in Denver if you don't like Barack Obama. I would love to move home to The South. I don't really like large groups of people.

The summer. There are really good places to go on vacation around here. And the fact that it's almost always sunny. I like the rain, but not if it's too much, like in the UK.

Peace and quiet and got the 4th largest city only 15 minutes away on one side and a pretty large one on the other side that takes ten minutes to got to. A lot of nature and one of the two cities was awarded the Culture Capital of Europe.

I live in Cornwall, England. I love it's Celtic past and history and we talk like pirates naturally.
