Standardized tests fail to measure a person's intelligence and are better at measuring the person's ability to take a test. I proved this to myself when I took the SAT 5.5 years ago and just circled based on logical elimination of the multiple choices. My score was around 1300. I never took the ACT.

True; it's like the community college SAT :P Glad I'm not the only old fart who remembers the 1600 point scale SAT (1520 here; girl I was academically competitive with in HS got a 1590 O_O)
I didnt do too well on the ACTs, but I did better on the SATs. I got around an 1800 without studying much (typical me). My brother should be at around a 2280 on the SATs.
