Been watching some of the Madonna films lately (Confessions Tour and Sticky and Sweet Tour), which were fun, and am waiting for Prince's Sign o' the Times (Blu-ray released this month in the UK). I imagine there are a ton of entertaining concert films. What's important?

Metallica - S&M

Metallica - Cunning Stunts. They're such pricks and jackasses, but god they put on a great concert. One of the few groups that's actually better live.

Also if you can find a recording of The Nutcracker with a live orchestra it's pretty great.

Very good choice.

Two discs? I guess I'll skim through the first one and then rent the second if I like it, THEN watch them in one go.

Wait, Netflix normally ships two disc movies in two separate envelopes. So I'm assuming this movie is split into distinct parts.

Many I could recommend but Stevie Wonder: Live at Last is pretty good.

Hit Man: David Foster & Friends is also good, has various genres and artists.

Both concerts I've recommended have got big bands, so if you've got a decent speaker set-up, even better.

Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense and Queen's Rock Montreal & Live Aid Blu-rays arriving tomorrow, as well as the rental for Madonna: The Girlie Show. Watched Madonna's Ciao Italia and Blond Ambition Tour and Michael Jackson's Live in Bucharest since I made this thread, which were pretty damn good. Blond Ambition Tour is my favorite concert film so far. Don't regret spending 30 dollars on the DVD. Already watched it twice.

AC/DC Let There be Rock. Great concert video with Bon Scott.
