What brand laundry detergent do you use? I use either Tide or Gain. I like Gain because it smells better though. This poll is partly for a psychology survey for school, don't ask.

Aww, you're upset. It's the Internet and a video game forum. If you think the world would be better then create a philosophy site dedicated towards video games where you can moderate everything you don't agree with or outside of your personal comfort zone. There you would be able to see only what you wanted to see.. Oh but wait, you can do that now... Just don't click on a thread that seems stupid to you! And if everyone else agrees that it is t worth talking about at all, then it will become irrelevant and descend to the depths of forum page history... Or eradicate the ones you personally don't want to see. Works too if you are a lame individual.

Tide, but that's because my mom buys it. I have no idea what I would buy if I bought it...it would be exciting. Laundry freedom!

I'd still probably buy tide though.

Whatever I get for cheap or free with my coupons. I don't actually have a preference. In the future when I'm trying to get barf and feces out of stuff (when I have a child, in case that went over anybody's head) I might become more choosy. But for now, I'm not a huge pig, so anything will do. I'll use any kind of detergent, right now we've got tide, purex, sunlight and arm&hammer in our cupboards. Literally 40 bottles of it, all different kinds. The one thing I've found makes me picky is the scent if it's strong, because it transfers to clothes. Mountain Spring Tide makes me smell like a burly man. Do not want. Protip for poor people: Look into what brands make the 'low end' products on your shelves. For example, Xtra is a brand of laundry detergent that is regularly $2 or so, even here in BC. It's made by Church & Dwight, the same company that makes Arm&Hammer detergent, which is sort of cheap as is, but still regularly $5 on sale or $8 regular. The ingredients to both are virtually the same, but because they spend more money ADVERTISING the A&H, it COSTS more. See where I'm going with this? Pays to look around, and all it really takes is googling the product and checking the bottom of the page for the company's name.

I use Tide for all my regular clothes, but work clothes and pants get liquid Wisk (it would take out that nasty black graphite grease out of my jeans and I could go out and party in the same jeans I worked during the week in).

Now as far as fabric softeners, it is Downey.
