I think it'll be fantastic, and it just might be the best one in the trilogy (at the least, I think it'll be just as good as The Dark Knight). I just think the wonderful cast along with the presumably emotionally resonant closing storyline for the Batman storyline are probably going to make it the best and most emotionally satisfying installment in the trilogy. But we'll just have to wait until Friday to find out.

Third option. Good movie, weakest in the trilogy. Anything other than that would be a pretty big surprise to me.

Call me crazy but I dont like Batman very much at all. Probably the worst superhero IMO. The villains in the franchise are what makes the movies or even anything worth watching. Batman himself is boring.

I know, something is wrong with me I think. I really gotta watch the movies actually...the last one I saw had Heath Ledger in it and now that I think about it it was a good movie. I am just a huge Wolverine fan. My favorite superhero of all time.

I liked Begins the best. Dark Knight was good but some what over rated. I think TDKR will be great, better than Dark Knight but not as good as Begins.

It'll be good. Better than TDK overall, but still likely ways away from greatness.

I've never seen or heard of a trilogy of great movies where each was better than the last. I think it will be incredible, but it won't be better than TDK. We'll see though.

I love what I've seen so far, but since TDK is my favorite movie, I would be surprised if its sequel actually managed to top it. It's not impossible though, or really unlikely, but I think it has a better shot at being just really really great.

I have read about TDKR through spoilers...I would be surprised if it doesn't touch TDK because it sounds far more intense and dark than that movie, hell I didn't even expect TDKR to go the route it was going. Yeah, lets wait and see though.

Man I thought Batman Begins was trash. It had some of the most poorly choreographed fight scenes and camera angles. The villain was also completely unmemorable. To this day I just call the villain of that movie baghead because I have no clue what the fvck his real name was or what he even did.

TDKR looks okay though. Probably better than Begins, probably not as good as TDK, and definitely won't have the foaming-at-the-mouth fanbase.

Nolan is a brilliant director so I've got high expectations for The Dark Knight Rises. But yes, probably the weakest in the trilogy. Unless they give us nip slips. Lots and lots of nip slips.

I'm ABSOLUTELY stoked for this! I always thought that Batman was one of the more overrated superheroes, but Christopher Nolan has absolutely nailed this series, IMO. I only expect him to close it out with a classic.

Based on what I've read from reviews and reactions, it will be the best one. So option #1 is the way to go.

From the previews, it looks like it has been given the Joel Schumacher treatment (too much of everything, little focus on anything). But still, I am trying to keep an open mind. As so far this year my most anticipated films have been disappointments. So hopefully this one will come through. But I'm getting afraid to ready any thread or article about it, as people like to leak spoilers, and I already know this movie is said to have big surprises.

That's fine. I love long moves, as long as the story manages to stay engaging. You obviously had no clue what I meant by "Joel Schumacher's too much of everything."

Third option. I don't know what I'll do if Bane turns out to be a grunting thug, and since I already suspect Tom Hardy was a casting mistake, I don't hold out that much hope. I'll keep an open mind though.

I don't think it be as great as The Dark Knight, but it should still be great. Here's to hoping Nolan surprises the hell out of me and does create the best movie in the trilogy though.
