I'm using avast most of the time. What antivirus do you normally use?

I stopped using ones you have to pay for since the free ones and common sense seem to do the trick. I now use Microsoft Security Essentials.
Too lazy to switch. I am using Comodo internet security, which includes firewall, Defense+ and their antivirus. When I do manual scans I use malware bytes and super antispyware, to mix it up a bit.
Wow, am I the only one here that doesn't use an anti-virus program? Like, none whatsoever? I don't feel the need to use one... I mean, if you DO get a virus, antivirus programs can't do jack about it, since you've already gotten it. All they can do it tell you about the virus. By then, it's attached itself to other system files. I know they can stop virus pfrom executing, but I'd rather not have an anti-virus hog my system resources all the time, like they always used to when I used to use them.
If I get a virus, I reformat! Done! I keep all my stuff on an external drive, so it's nothing.
[QUOTE="Sandulf29"]Heard about it but never gave it a chance. till date i have use avast, avira, avg, NOD32 and i would say Kaspersky is best of them all the firewall is just mind blowing it has saved me from many malware pop-ups were NOD32 has failed. another great thing is it scans all files inside RAR, EXE, MSI, ZIP files and detects trojans. this one feature i have not seen in other anti-viruses. small fee but but its totally worth it :DKaspersky FTW

How can they offer all this stuff for free?
Sounds painful. Why not just switch to a Linux flavor? :PWow, am I the only one here that doesn't use an anti-virus program? Like, none whatsoever? I don't feel the need to use one...
