What age would you start to find it weird for someone to still be a virgin?

I would say late 20's.

No age really. I can't say that I'm all that concerned with other people's lifestyle choices in that area.

If they are actively seeking a romantic relationship with sexual intimacy, then older than 25 is getting into "weird" territory.

If they are waiting for the right person to come along, or are not interested in sexual intimacy, then no age is weird.

I think, for today's society, 21 would be the age most people would consider awkward to still be a virgin.

Personally, I think everyone has their own pace for sex and relationships, so I don't judge people on that. Ok, maybe I'd find it a bit awkward if they get past 30, but that's it.

Mid to late 20s

18 if going by society standards (At least, when I was growing up and attending High School, folks made it seem weird and unnatural for someone to be a virgin at that age or older)...

For me it depends entirely on the person. If someone is, say over 21, ridiculing others for being a virgin but happen to be virgins themselves, I would find that weird and awkward. If they are constantly hounding women in a Johnny Bravo -esque way and still a virgin, definitely weird (At some point, one should decide to just pick up a streetwalker or get a call girl if you're that desperate). But I think after 30, unless you're asexual, it would be awkward/weird if a conversation ever went into the territory of sex and you blurt out that you're a virgin. It wouldn't change my views of that person nor would I tease or ridiculed them for it, but it still would be a bit weird especially if they are attracted to either gender...

Like asking if a male should be a teen before bashing the bishop. Considering how much sex is practiced by a good majority of youngsters, 16 would seem like an average ceiling. Can't see that there are many twenty something virgins in society. Aside from those persuing a religious vocation perhaps.

I think society shouldn't impose any age limits or look down on people who are in their late 20's or early 30's who haven't had sex. It's a matter of culture, morale and upbringing

None what's so ever. I personally don't think age doesn't matter if that person is in his/her 20's who is still a Virgin, it's just when the beast is ready to make a move.

@grimseeker: Its next to impossible to get laid mate. Women have all the power in this and good luck getting laid consistently! Only decent looking men get to breed or rich men the rest the vast majority are probably doomed to a life of rejection no family and loneliness. Take my word for it its really hard unless you have girls in your social circle. Women have the choice now they earn money and still want rich men they wont settle or compromise and even if you do meet someone you will probably get dumped for someone they consider better. Relationships are dying the average is 2 years now ("Was 7"). Having anything even slightly wrong or out of place will net you nothing with women and take my word for it they are BRUTAL. Either earn money or be really good looking or just except it will never happen.

Im 6-2 good build not bad looking and i get jack in the UK nothing! Most women are quite cruel nowadays and the age old they prefer men who are dominate rule applies. You are better off getting a woman and beating her every now and again than actually being a nice guy. Its messed up/

HEads up ive met men from former generations IE elderly men and more often than not they never married or even had anyone. I am quite sure we heavily outnumber women in our age groups and like i said many women have all the choice in who they choose. Which means unless you are Harry Styles who can pick from Millions of women YOU will have no choice in your wife her looks or anything you will have to settle.

21. I punched my v-card when I was 17 (to a 22 year-old college senior...high fives!), but I blew numerous opportunities when I was 16. If you get through most of your college years without getting laid, it might be time to buy a whore.

In the world we live in it's not possible for every man to get laid.

Women are not just attracted to some men so it's not possible for some men to get affection from women, no matter how hard they try to get reciprocal affection from women.

It just doesn't work if no woman is ever attracted to you. Some men are destined to be forever alone and there is nothing they can do about it.

It's only ok for him (from society's perspective) because he was an athlete. If some regular joe said he was only a virgin because he was saving himself for marriage, everyone would be like "suuuuure." lol.

I don't care, it's their own business. And about males not finding women, most guys severely over "score" themselves and aim for women leagues above them. If you can't have realistic standards, why should women?

I feel like evolution is laughing in my face. I feel like genetically I'm just not pleasing and I don't have the right mind to be an alpha male.........I've done so much and try and change myself. I'm 25, I have worked out and lost 30 pounds, I'm in a program doing what I love and I've met a lot of people. I think I'm decent looking, I'm hygienic, and I don't stray far from social norms and etiquette that people would find me weird.

Yet I haven't really made that leap of faith where I start talking to a girl which leads to me actually asking her out. People pretend that they aren't controlled by animal instinct, ie companionship and/or sex. Its one of those things that drives me crazy, its what I think about, I want to experience it. Hell, if someone is smart enough to not sleep with just anyone, then more power to them. I think some of us just aren't that strong-willed.

I don't have one. I think if someone wants to wait until marriage or just not do it, that's a personal choice on their part that doesn't affect me. So there is no magic age.

I'd agree with late 20's. I get people going through highschool without having sex, in fact I find that's perfectly normal. I can also see someone getting through college without having sex, depending on what they study, the friends they make, what they're like or where they live (and go to college).

got laid at 17 but really, it isn't that important. It is quite fun though, but it can also be source of misery.

37 now and single, got one serious relationship (5 years in my middle twenties) but a lot of girlfriends. I never wanted to be in the blue hotel again so i stick with short relationships (< month) . Waiting for the right one isn't really such a bad idea because the blue hotel is the last place you want to be. It's worse than hell .
