@castletonsnob: lol I still rewatch ultimate showdown sometimes, but I don't consider it a "web tune" unless it has actual episodes, otherwise it's basically just a one-off thing.

Sooo with that said, web tunes were not really a thing until I got out of high school so I was sort of "all growed up" more or less, mostly less. I watched Happy Tree Friends shortly after getting out of high school. The one I remember before graduating was Teen Girl Squad which had several episodes. They weren't very good, but they had that "lulz so random" humor that appeals to kids at that age.

When I was in college (and well beyond) we got DBZ Abridged which I still watch episodes of to this day.

The internet wasn't a big deal until I was older.

I had totally forgot about Happy Tree Friends. My cousin had introduced my brother and me to that cartoon.

In the 90's, my family really didn't come to the world of computers until much later in the late 90's and even then, I grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons that is, until Cartoon Network was born and change all that. And another thing, I was mostly into gaming in the early 90's from Arcade era to the console era aka SNES/Sega Genesis was born.
