[QUOTE="6_volts"]Brazil is playing horribly, I can't believe it...6_volts
I don't think they are playing horribly, we had two defensive problems and the USA took advantage of them.
And what do you call it when you have defensive problems? playing good?Nope, but horribly is not the word either. The team was able to create many goal opportunities so far therefore it is far from horrible. :)

Considered to watch I'm used to see what Brazil play like, this is bad.Well I am from Brazil so I guess I am also pretty used to see them play. I guess we just have different takes on what playing horribly is.
If US won it all, it would be the equivalent of the Olympic hockey win over the USSR, aka the Miracle on Ice. Go USA!
Except that the "Miracle on Ice" had a little bit more meaning. :)If US won it all, it would be the equivalent of the Olympic hockey win over the USSR, aka the Miracle on Ice. Go USA!

True, a Confederation Cup doesn't hold as much value as an Olympic gold medal, but the odds of victory are pretty much comparable.

well the odds are comparable but i think it would hold more weight if the USA were playing in the finals for the World CupExcept that the "Miracle on Ice" had a little bit more meaning. :)[QUOTE="DarkPrinceXC"][QUOTE="shadowprince92"]

I'm not even talking about that. I'm talking about the tensions between the US and the USSR at the time of the game, and how much it meant to the entire country.Actually watching it right now, only the second time I have ever watched soccer.SaintLeonidas
i dont watch football usually, i normally just watch hockey. but im really starting to get into it now, i love the fact that there arent commercials every 5 minutes and there arent too many stops in action
oh yea and the horns are mad annoying haha
To all you soccer haters go and support your country at least once this is history in the making and it seems like no one cares its on espn. We need more goals to secure a win!kingcobrasoccerI'd rather USA win of course, but I don't know the first thing about the damn sport. That's like telling me to support the Red Wings in the playoffs, just because they're from my country. :roll:
