US Selective Service

We don't have a draft in place. Both the military and public don't want it, but there is a war going on and troops are always in demand. At 30 I'm too old for a general draft, but I am a medical professional and there is a clause that states I could be called up to age 45 if there was a national emergency. I hate the idea of war(espescially this one), but I'd go. It's part of why I chose my current profession. What's your stance on this issue?

I believe they have a don't ask, don't tell policy. If there is a draft, I don't think they'll care if you are a homosexual or not.

What happens if they don't ask and you don't tell but the Army finds out? It's happened before.

Damn... that sucks. I was hoping I could just gay it up a bit and they'd be like "actually, we don't need your services."
