How are whites more privileged than blacks or other races? Minorities are the ones receiving affirmative action. Minorities with worse grades than white people can get in better colleges too. Well obviously as society's least oppressed and highest status race, white people clearly deserve more priveleges and a higher place in society then they already have and not less.

Whites were more priveledged at one point in time. But now the country has the Civil Rights Act and affirmative action.

I'm yet to click the link (sorry TC), but I do believe that specifically targeting minorities can actually have the opposite effect of what was intended. In many cases it can underline differences rather than focusing on the ideal of equality and unity regardless of ethnicity.

A lot of things actually accomplish the opposite of their intended effect. For instance last year I was reading a book about India ("In Spite of the Gods" by Edward Luce), where it says that an Indian law that was intended to reduce unemployment by requiring companies to get permission from a government agency before they can fire or layoff employees actually has the effect of increasing unemployment because businesses do not hire unless they absolutely need to since it's such a hassle to fire someone (people would literally not show up at work for days and still they weren't fired).

No. There is nothing inherent about it whites are generally more privileged because whites are generally more wealthy and because whites have a greater say in the structure and function of our society and law than blacks. It's not inherent, it's institutional. Whites outnumber blacks which means there are more white voters and more poor whites than there are poor blacks or black voters.

Africans in the 1600s would sell their own slaves (many of them were probably prisoners) to Europeans and no one cared except the slaves themselves obviously. While I don't support slavery (even the enslavement of prisoners), people shouldn't be so quick to blame "whitey" on everything that happened. Did it ever occur to people that invading a foreign land and taking its resources has been a practice for thousands of years now? People give crap to whites about Europeans taking over North America, yet the native tribes of this land committed their own atrocities against each other.
It's human goddamn nature to seek a better place to live, and if that means nearly wiping out the native population, well so be it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mongols invaded Eastern Europe in the 1200s and the Muslim Moors invaded Spain (and some of what is now France, I think) in the 600s or something, yet I'm not gonna call every Asian and every Muslim an oppressor of the White race.
