"Entrapment" is a rather serious term for the author to just throw into his title.

I know he's trying to paint the police in as bad a light as possible to make his own position seem superior, but that just comes across as misleading.

@JML897: sarcasm right? I see a lot of drug news where the police department say the same thing. We busted x people now y drug is off the streets. That is impossible drugs will always be available. Even legal highs can be as dangerous as PCP.

Your lucky cops can get tough on scum, over here in Britain they let thugs rule the streets. Be grateful, sure there are some bad apples but your cops at least can get tough on scum.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Why do people get angry at cops for enforcing the law? They didn't write the criminal code, they just enforce it. If you don't like it, advocate for the law being changed and get the majority of the population on your side.

It's a silly waste of our money to bust high school kids for buying pot.

I love how personal possession is such a high priority in the US.

Sending undercover cops posing as students to this school for the sole purpose of arresting kids who are looking to buy/sell marijuana is pretty fucking weird to me

It might be a waste of money, but I think they see it as if they catch them early, they're less likely to repeat it. Honestly, I don't know how I feel about this. I defintiely don't feel bad for the kids, but it does seem like a waste of money to go through so much to catch a non-serious crime.
