Now that the Syrian ceasefire largely holding in Syria CNN has stopped reporting on Syria and has not mentioned that Russia, Turkey are working together in Syria agaisnt ISIS and other Jihadists which CNN saw as Moderates.

This just proves Trump's statement that CNN is Fake News. He is right.

Still no evidence has being provided that Russia hacked the elections. But hey keep believing the Fake News.

Was listening to 1A on NPR today and the host had a response to a question about fake new in that fake news is not news -- news cannot be fake so the phrase "fake news" is inaccurate and misleading. That is me paraphrasing his response, by the way.

LOL now they are the ones trying to run away from their own term.

"news cannot be fake so the phrase "fake news" is inaccurate and misleading."

The same news that lied about the WMDs in Iraq? the same news that jumped the gun and quickly attacked Russia for Hillary's Clinton leaked emails as Russia hacking the election? the whole News media seems to be still running as the Clinton spokes media.

Russia, Turkey agree to 'coordinate' strikes in Syria: Moscow

CNN is fake news because they haven't (yet) reported on a minor story related to an announcement that just happened today?

And said announcement is a relatively minor development on coordination of airstrikes by the two guarantors that have been cooperating in numerous other ways.

And that this coordination is likely aimed at groups that have been excluded from the ceasefire, with said exclusions and possible ramifications having previously been widely reported, including by CNN.

Alright then.

So, in the span of a couple of posts we have gone from CNN is no longer reporting on Syria (wrong) and is not reporting on Russian/Turkish action against excluded groups (wrong again) to: 'but, but, but they haven't reported (yet) on today's announcement that they will coordinate air operations'. LMAO

If CNN runs a line or two on this mighty important news in the next few days will you seek psychiatric help?

CNN is Fake News not because they haven't reported story from Syria but it shows that they one sided as always they are during conflicts. And that Syrian story is not a minor event.

"CNN is fake news because they haven't (yet) reported on a minor story related to an announcement that just happened today?"

CNN lied about the Syrian conflict since the war had started just as they lied about the Libyan conflict and Libya is no longer being reported or the fact that there's a civil war raging down there? CNN is fake news for a number of reasons Syria is just a few of those reasons.

If CNN runs a line or two on this mighty important news in the next few days will you seek psychiatric help?

I am not holding my breath, if anything your beloved CNN will be running some more fake news stories of Trump being Putin's agent or how the Russian hacked the American elections still without evidence.

So little kid where's the evidence that Russia hacked the elections again? ironic how Fake News CNN moved away from that BS to a new BS fake story of golden showers.

Ah Liberals still claiming that CNN is a most trusted reliable source as they were on Syria? Libya? Balkans? Iraq? lol.

"distract everyone from the actual fake news by throwing the word around until it loses all meaning?"

You mean the fake golden showers stories which are being created by the News Media after they couldn't provide any actual evidence of a Russia hack during the elections? not allot of people wouldn't missing Hillary Nor Obama.

Libya is still a failed state. Obamacare to costly.

I think Christopher Hitchens summed Michelle Obama up perfectly. He said she comes from an insanely high place of privilege, and she feels extremely guilty about it.

What a terrible argument you used. Not reporting on a news story does not make a source a fake news outlet.

You should probably learn what fake news is before you start using the term.

Most likely. I find the term to be grossly misused nowadays. And Trump isn't really helping the situation.

They weren't hacks. They were trolls sent out by Russia to interfere with the election (Much like Hilary did this entire campaign trail to her opponents).

@luckylucious: Honestly I think their biggest most blatant act that had me lose all confidence in CNN is their coverage of the Milwaukee riot.. They purposefully spun the sister of the dead criminal's words to suggest that she was calling for a end of the violence and rolled with it, cutting the actual footage, when in fact the full footage said simply not to riot here but to burn down suburbs instead. This wasn't some bullshit mistake, this was a clear act of media spin bias of the most extreme I have really seen...

CNN is crap. They are mediocre journalism. But that is not the same thing as "fake news".

Reporting on the "golden shower dossier" was crappy journalism, as the dossier seems sketchy, but the dossier does exist and was discussed with Obama and Trump by the CIA. Nothing CNN said was a lie.

Fake news, is saying something happened that really didn't. Like saying Pope Francis endorsed Trump, or Putin Banned Meryl Streep movies. Those were widely circulated stories that did not actually happen.

Obviously there's always been people throwing the term around, but suddenly it became the most used term behind sjw and just above cuck. I think the fact that so many of those fake news stories are about the election is why, if fake news influenced the election it damages the narrative that Trump is the person the people actually wanted and that he wasn't voted for out of ignorance. I've actually seen someone counter argue against someone bringing up fake news sites with "well you watch CNN so you can't talk" Even if we all agree that CNN is shit, that doesn't change the fact that there are literal fake news sites influencing politics. Bashing CNN relentlessly just seems to be a way to distract from the problem Trump and the GOP are facing and the shady way they got power.

I don't like CNN. But man, relentlessly calling it a fake news outlet is really little more than a red herring and blatantly fallacious. It stretches the term and ignores the root problem.

CNN is Fake News not because they haven't reported story from Syria but it shows that they one sided as always they are during conflicts. And that Syrian story is not a minor event.

"CNN is fake news because they haven't (yet) reported on a minor story related to an announcement that just happened today?"

"If CNN runs a line or two on this mighty important news in the next few days will you seek psychiatric help?"

Oh look the tolerant left. Nice insult lefty you leftists fail at it

You started an inflammatory thread with poor evidence to back up your claim, and now you're upset when people say something a little mean in response? Why don't you cool off a bit.

We should all thank CNN:

1. They gave democrats/undecided a false sense of security that Trump was not going to get elected president (likely resulting in fewer people bothering to go out and vote for Hillary)

2. They gave republicans/undecided a false sense that Crooked Hillary was going to be the next president (driving more people to go out and vote against Hillary)

3. They were so transparently biased towards Hillary that people stopped and thought "Maybe I shouldn't believe everything I hear", which is good for humanity, bad for toxic media outlets.

In summary, they contributed to stopping Crooked Hillary from becoming president and they made everyone less gullible to fabricated stories.

Thank you CNN. Keep up the good work!

You say nowadays but it feels incredibly recent, as in just a few weeks. Lots of those sites in that list are also very recent, typically talking about the election.

Bashing CNN relentlesslyjust seems to be a way to distract from the problem Trump and the GOP are facing and the shady way they got power.

Indeed.

I don't like CNN. But man, relentlessly calling it a fake news outletis really little more than a red herring and blatantly fallacious. It stretches the term and ignores the root problem.

Yeah your right, CNN oozes unbiased professionalism.

Responding to accusations of using red herrings and being fallacious by using red herrings and being fallacious, nice.

Here I'll bold the parts you conveniently seemed to skip. Whether CNN is good or not isn't really relevant, the fact is it's objectively not a fake news site. There's nothing wrong with criticising CNN where it deserves to be criticised, but there is something wrong with RELENTLESSLY criticising it especially when it isn't even relevant to the subject at hand. It's usually done to derail the conversation away from sensitive areas i.e a red herring.

@toast_burner: As they should be relentlessly criticized.. Not by Trump, the man is a jackass, but calling CNN fake news doesn't stop the rest of the news world to call him out.. I mean there just ISN'T CNN in the place..

I mean not even FOX news which I thought was the absolute worse of the MSM when it came to overt bias got even remotely close to the kind of shit CNN has done this past year..

And based on the numerous shit like purposefully misleading stories about Milawuakee riots... Having a reporter give Clinton the debate questions before the actual debate, to having coached questions and answers in fake townhall meetings, to shit like I showed.. No one should be defending CNN, and just because we should all shit on CNN doesn't some how mean Trump isn't a piece of crap above criticism. There is no red herring, the guy has been drilled into the ground harder than any other president before he has even taken office. Rightfully calling CNN the shit media organization it is, isn't going to some how magically have the real criticisms leveled against him by basically the entire media world to suddenly disappear.

When an entire news channel has an obvious bias towards a single candidate, and a single party, and pushes a narrative, they are no longer a news channel. they are a propaganda machine. What would you call a propaganda machine when it fronts as the news?

@hillelslovak: I use to think Fox news was the absolute worse of MSM, but CNN this past election took the shit to a whole new level.

A very biased news outlet.

Fake news sites are literally fake. The stories aren't real, not real but given a biased twist, literally not real, never happened, fiction, fake.

@toast_burner: Ok what would you call purposefully doctoring the Milwaukee footage of the man's sister? In which she said to stop rioting in the city and go to the suburbs and burn it down, they instead cut it into saying that she just wanted the rioting to end..

Or that VERY clip in which they freaking were interviewing a cameraman of CNN pretending to be a protester there?

Or how about the fact that we have evidence that during the town hall meetings with Clinton that all the questions were coached?

Or how about the fact that Clinton was giving the debate questions BEFORE the CNN debate with Trump?

What ever you want to call it, CNN deserves to be tarred and feathered. They should be treated on the same level as Brietbart..

By relentless I'm talking about people criticising literally everything it does even when they did nothing wrong or exaggerating minor blunders into the scandal of the century. For Christ sake the OP is trying to use their choice of background graphic (and ironically lying at the same time, they never once claimed that the graphic demonstrates real hacking, it's literally just a background image) as evidence of them being a "fake news site"

And they should be relentlessly driven into the ground.. IN Journalism trust and integrity is key, they have none as shown with numerous incidents this past year.. And we aren't just talking about mistakes we are talking about extremely deliberate things of altering shit going far beyond nit picking.. Most agree with this sentiment with MSM having record levels of unpopularity of trust by the American people due to their blatant lying and propaganda we saw through out this election..

Fool me once, shame on you.. Fool me twice, shame on me.. They deserve no ones trust after the shit they have pulled.

@sSubZerOo: Biased News != Fake News. They usually go hand in hand. But one does not mean the other.

So you think misrepresenting the purpose of a background image is a fair criticism?

CNN is crap, so why do you and so many other feel the need to lie about it? There's so much bad stuff you can say about it without having to resort to this petty nonsense.

And the Breitbart also isn't a fake news site. So if you think it's on the same level then you must be in agreement with me, no?

So what your saying is if some one cited a breitbart article as evidence in the article you would trust it? Hell no, they are disreputable and I really don't care what you call CNN.. I prefer the term propaganda machine over anything else, to me its far more sinister in conveying a very specific bias to help slant public support for their own political gains.
