How so?

As far as I know, hosting an Olympics game is a massive moneysink and a investment that will never yield a positive return. Considering the debt of Spain and Tokyo, it should have gone to Istanbul.

I'd rather have the Fukushima Daichi plant than the social unrest in Rio. Or Istanbul.

I think it is good that Tokyo won. The last time they held the Olympics was the 1964 Summer Olympics. By the time they are held, it will have been 56 years.

The best choice. Spain is bankrupt and Istanbul is too close to conflict right now. Who knows if that will change in 7 years.
