We (the U.S.)are supposed to be really big on the internet but plenty of other countries are more advanced than us. Well the in the area of ISP's anyway. Espcially Japan.We get 6 MBps at the most. And thats only on the East Coast. But I doubt that they even see speeds like that. Our buddies over on the East side of da earth are enjoying speeds of 25MBps and up. And in Japan they can get 100MBps through Fiber Optics to their home. Fiber Optics in ur crib?!!! And it suprisingly cheap. If you look at the link here in my post you'll see that for the service I just mentioned it cost4500 yen. In U.S. dollars thats just 38 dollars. WTF is going on? I want insane bandwidth too. Anybody know when ISP's over here are gonna be offering us Fiber Optic service?
It's because the government in Japan invests heavily in technology, and can afford those amazing services as a result. However, for the US, so much money is being invested into the military that we're practically in the dark ages compared to them... >_>
Fiber optics is service though a thin piece of glass...yeah, bandwith would go higher up...but fiber optics is pretty expensive...how they do it for cheap...i dont know...
So whats the big deal all those other countries are economically inferior and we have Wal Mart which guarntees U.S.A. big discounts on lots of junk ha!
