  1. The Upside - $19.5 Million (new release)
  2. Aquaman - $17.2 Million
  3. A Dog's Way Home - $11.3 Million (new release)
  4. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - $9.0 Million
  5. Escape Room - $8.9 Million
  6. Mary Poppins Returns - $7.2 Million
  7. Bumblebee - $6.7 Million
  8. On the Basis of Sex - $6.2 Million
  9. The Mule - $5.5 Million
  10. Vice - $3.27 Million
  11. Replicas - $2.5 Million (new release)

Looks like Kevin Hart still makes the money, I didn't know The Upside is a remake of the French movie, that's interesting, I might go check this out later on. As for Replicas, I never thought I see a Keanu Reeves movie flop so hard, I'm stun he actually agree to this movie and it flop so hard.

January 2019 is such a disappointing now, I hope M. Night Shyamalan's Glass comes through next weekend.

I think The Upside is a re-make of a French film. As it almost always goes, the original is probably better. Though... This new one does have Kevin Hart.

Did anyone see The Mule? I enjoy Clint Eastwood's recent films a lot, was wondering how this one was.

Yeah, I mentioned it in the movie thread the other week. I wasn't really impressed, I feel like Eastwood made the film because he found the true story the movie is based off of to be interesting. I guess I enjoyed it enough for what it was, but you reach the end and there's not really any sort of climax.

The Mule was very predictable and I wasn't impress either. I would like it better if Eastwood would make another Western movie.

Ahhh yes, not surprised to see it still charting. Just missed out on being in the top 10 though...

Hmm, considering the budget of Upside was around 40mill, it´s not entirely making money for Kevin Hart, and I bet the whole Oscar situation did not help him.

But what a boring January, at least though as you say Glass is coming and after the last movie with Mr Good wife, I am looking forward to the trilogy coming to its conclusion.
