Just the size of the solar system makes me feel small. The books have it srhunken down immensly. If the Earth were the size of one pixel on your monitor Pluto would be many kilometers away and Eris would be about 3 or 4 times that. The theoretical Oort cloud would be about 100 times that. (These distances are nowhere near exact. It's just to give you some idea of the immensity of our own Solar System.)

Out of all the trillions of galaxies there are, I'm sure there is more than just one planet (Eartth) with life like ours. Will we ever see this other life though? Not likely in our lifetime, but you never know...

Indeed. It boggles my mind to think that it takes 8 hours for LIGHT to cross the circumference of a star like VY Canis Majoris.

Yeah, there are a minimum of 100 billion galaxies in the universe. Most likely there are quadrillions.

I laughed when I first saw the topic title. I read The Universe is Big(4.4MB) Anyway I seen this here quite a few times usually a gif though.Devil-Itachi
