Good even. I don't think I would ever revisit it. I liked Rogue One and Solo less and am starting to doubt Star Wars is all that special without the core fantasy elements like the force, knights, royal families and wizards. I wish Disney started focusing on that stuff with their side projects.

I loved Rogue One, really enjoyed Solo and minus one episode, thought the Mandalorian was a good starting point for Disney + original content. My only complaint about it is the episodes need to be longer, with more focus on story and just what's going on in general in the star wars universe during this time frame. Can't wait to see what they do with season 2.

I loved the first season. Minus the 4th episode, which felt like watching Hercules or Xena. Other than that, it was a solid production, which captured the magic of Star Wars, while adding a western touch to it. The protagonist may not talk much but he's better written than most characters of the new trilogy...

I like it, wish there was more episodic shows with a background serial plot.

I like it, better than the main series movies. Best part of the show the is the first ten minutes of the last episode.

Better than the new main series? Yeah, that's not saying much. Abrams shouldn't write screenplays.

No, it's not haha. But I mean, it's much better than those movies...not just barely.

I enjoyed all the side movies more though.

Still haven't watched it yet. I really don't feel like subbing to another streaming service. I may wait for some more shows to come out and then just binge everything during a trial.

The whole irony or whatever to Star Wars is that, outside of original trilogy (4, 5, and 6), the best Star Wars material have been shows.

More specifically, animated shows.

Rebels has more soul and Star Wars feeling than any of the new installments. The Clone Wars series puts Episode 1-3 to shame. The best part? There are dozens of hours to them, and most of the stuff is pretty damn good.

Rogue One is probably the best Star Wars full-length film in 20 years, and it's not even part of the episodes.

Concerning the Mandalorian, it is a show that needed to be made, with a character (or rather, character archetype) that had been in need of screen time for decades. I thought it was great, and it oozed Star Wars character better than any of the new films.

I really liked how they had "guest directors" to do each of the episodes; I think they each brought something unique to the show, while also sticking to a central theme. It did not take itself too serious, which frankly was a good call because Episodes 7-9 seem to take themselves a bit too serious (minus the "yo momma" joke-equivalent at the beginning of Episode 8)

I feel like Disney probably should have made this series longer if they wanted to use it to draw people to Disney Plus. I watched it in, I think, six days and then cancelled before the free sub was over.

I doubt a pretty woman would let herself be punched in the face in a fight ring like that. Even a tomboy like her. A professional boxer I can see doing that, but not a mercenary. She obviously cares about her looks, or she wouldn't be wearing makeup. This "girls can do anything boys can do" shit is getting old.

I wonder if the Empire's plan for baby Yoda will be dumb.

@ezekiel43: She was in a cage fight (of sorts)...you don't have a whole lot of choices if you get punched in the face or not? Not sure exactly what your whole point is with this? She was a fighter in real life and got punched plenty and still looks good, am I missing something from your post?

Yeah, you're missing the part where she wouldn't have put herself in a cage fight in the first place, being someone who cares about her looks.

It's probably the first Star Wars movie/series ever made that I enjoy watching.

I'm at episode 5 and I would rate it a 7.5 or 8- maybe. Probably 8-. The music is extremely good.

@ezekiel43: You should see the new Aladdin and how Jasmin wants to become Sultan(a) and how she would make a better leader because she's so caring but they keep her silent. I almost puked XD

But whatever. Once you start looking for those things it never ends. I try to gloss over those parts just like how I gloss over kissing/sex scenes when watching things with my family.
