Hello everyone... I live in the states and recently got turned on to the show called "The IT Crowd" from the UK. Just wondering if anyone here in the states or the UK watches it and what they think of it... I personally enjoy it and find it quite funny.

I heard NBC was going to do a US version just like The Office, but didn't go through with it.

Yep, I watch it, it's pretty funny. What do you think of UK sitcoms compared to US sitcoms? I personally think the UK ones are funnier, especially the older ones.

Honestly, I haven't watched much UK sitcoms... I have only seen the US version of The Office... my fav UK comedy show would be "Mind Your Language"... I watched that growing up in the 80's and have the DVD's.

Hmmm, never heard of that. Some of the best UK sitcoms are Fawlty Towers, Father Ted and Red Dwarf, you may have heard of those. All hilarious and kinda silly, like the IT Crowd.

Actually I haven't heard of those but will check them out. Mind your Language was an old show in the 70's I believe. Do yourself a huge favor and watch it... trust me.

It's ok. Didn't think the new series has been too good so far though...

Got series 1 and 2 on DVD. I love it :P Episode one of the new series was pretty average. The second one on last Friday was much better though
