October is my favorite month, so yeah I like fall.

This is the season I like hiking and having beers with friends, the crisp cool air reminds me of my days headed back to college, always good memories. October in particular generally has some of the most perfect days of the year here in Pennsylvania.

Is it? The calendar says so, the trees are turning, but it's going to be 85 degrees this weekend (average is about 70). September was 90+ save a handful of days.

I love fall, but it just isn't happening.

Prefer Spring....coming out of winter rather than in.

So you live in the east coast?

@br0kenrabbit:"but it's going to be 85 degrees this weekend (average is about 70)."

Where is this?

I love the fall too and October is my favourite month. Cool brisk weather, leaves changing colour, Canadian Thanksgiving with pumpkin pie, and Halloween. It's perfect.

Where is this?

East Tennessee. And now I have a refrigerant leak in my AC. It's not in the unit outside so time to invest in a leak detector.

Funny you mention Tennessee because I just turn to the Titans/Jaguars game and they showed 71 degrees.

Let me ask. Is it humid enough for you to have a AC on?

He He. We hit 36C (97F) today. Well, it's cooler than 115 F. ;) Yet, the mornings were cool enough for some people to wear sweaters. Not me though.

It not humid atm but it does get stuffy in the house with no air going. I could open the windows but those damn no-see-ems get in even with the screens.

As a Californian, we lack what the rest of the world calls "Seasons"

nah but I do enjoy the changing of colors of the leaves, so pretty. At my folks place there's this really tall tree, I think it's a maple, and it looks like it is on fire, how orange it gets. After a rain shower, when the clouds part and the sky is clear and the sun comes in and that golden sunlight comes in through that crystal-clear sky right before dusk, it just lights it up and it looks...other-worldly. I can't really explain it, man, it's just amazing.

My fiancee is the same way. For me getting out of the extreme heat is a nice feeling.

screw the fall. short days, sick and depressed people, temperature inversion. can't think of anything good about cold seasons.

fall is almost over here, most of the leaves are off and snow is on the way.
