  1. The Dark Tower - $19,500,000 (new release)
  2. Dunkirk - $17,600,000
  3. The Emoji Movie - $12,350,000
  4. Girls Trip - $11,418,700
  5. Kidnap - $10,210,000 (new release)
  6. Spider-Man: Homecoming - $8,800,000
  7. Atomic Blonde - $8,244,930
  8. Detroit - $7,251,000
  9. War for the Planet of the Apes - $6,000,000
  10. Despicable Me 3 - $5,288,640

Judging by the numbers here, looks like we'll be in the dregs for a while until September at least.

Went to see Dark Tower, I enjoy it and that's about it. Might go check out that new Annabelle movie starting this week and I be surprise if it makes it to $40 million.

@davillain-: Annabelle: Creation is looking like a big surprise for August. Reviews are already coming in and are positive. Possibly the best one in the Conjuring Universe

September 10/13, 2017: Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan is being shown for the 35th anniversary. That's what I will see and that will be the first movie in months I view.

What I see released in current times is mainly bunk.

Yep, i totally enjoyed it. I got to experience it in a theater that had reclining leather seats, and bass under the seats. I don't know if that played a roll on how much i liked it, but i enjoyed the heck out of it. I was muching popcorn like crazy, lol ..

What happened to that science fiction picture that began with the letter "V?" I'm guessing it flopped very hard.

I'm happy for Spider-Man: Homecoming at least. It will cross $300 million dollars domestic in a couple of days. It wasn't to long ago that this series was doom and gloom :)

You mean Valerian? That movie flop so hard, it was Jupiter Ascending all over again.

Totally enjoy it and I'm a fan of the Book series. Will get the Blu-Ray when it's release.

Lights out was a damn good horror movie. Annabelle: Creation might turn out to be a decent film since I like the other Annabelle movies/spin-offs.

If that is the one with the homely model chick with the eye-brows similar to the girl (who encouraged her bf to kill himself) sentenced to fifteen months last week, then yes.

It and Kingsman 2 are in September and Blade Runner is in October so that's something to look forward to I guess if you're into those.

Figure now would be a good time to go see Detroit. Or Dunkirk, I still need to see that.
