It should probably end up overall positive reviews. I don't pay much attention to reviews though.. Which includes games as well. :P11 means nothing though I'm sure it won't go down much.

While a good sign, it's only 11 reviews.chessmaster1989

It'll drop. Guaranteed.drinkerofjuiceYou gargoyles realise that there's been more than 11 reviews right? This is just RT. The critical reception from early screenings has been hugely positive. They just don't have reviews up on the site yet.
Heath Ledger died and with him my love for the batman movies. Wont even watch this POS.Solid_TangoWhat you said here? Yeah, totally not stupid.

If there were 2 negative reviews I can tell you now the IMDB board page would be all over it. Someone had made a huge thread posting all of the reviews and none have been negative so far.

For movies I definitely don't unless it just gets nuked by critics. :P

Since there are 11 reviews on RT, that's the number I'm going by. When more get put in, that number will update. I mean I already bought a ticket to the midnight showing anyway so reviews aren't going to change whether I go see the movie. :P
Also when you put "11 reviews" in your thread title, you can hardly blame us for citing that number.
Even if TDKR had really bad reviews, I'd still see it.

There's some movies you got to see no matter what. I think The Hobbit is another one like that for me. Lord of the Rings is what I'd consider my most favourite movies of all time.
~Todd McCarthyBig-time Hollywood filmmaking at its most massively accomplished, this last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy makes everything in the rival Marvel universe look thoroughly silly and childish.
WoW - considering how awesome Avengers was, that's a pretty profound statement.
MY question is this: Is it as good as Dark Knight?
I'm only comparing it the Dark Knight. Is it as good as that movie?

I don't see why the LOTR films are so revered. The story is so pretentious, which I absolutely hate.
It's obvious that you have no idea what the word pretentious means......I don't see why the LOTR films are so revered. The story is so pretentious, which I absolutely hate.

I know exactly what "pretentious" means. The LOTR films try too hard to seem grandiose. Everything from the names of the characters to the descrpitions of lands to be traveled to makes it obvious that the writer (J.R. Tolkien) and the filmmakers wants to create this sense of awe. The problem is that the sense of awe doesn't feel natural; it feels forced and subsequently corney.

Way to go out on a limb there.
I know, right? :PI can see where the "Shire" and "Frodo"..and "Bilbo Baggins" or "Gollum" would be considered "grandiose"....if you don't like the movie fine...but don't come up with a dumbass reason for your dislike of a great series of movies.......I know exactly what "pretentious" means. I think it's funny when people have decided a movie should only get positive reviews when they themselves have never seen it.
It's like they feel the movie will be ruined by someone else's opinion - so if it gets a bad review, people trash the critic.
On the other hand, if the same critic likes the movie, people will cite the critic's own review article using it to fuel their fanboyism.
It's almost as bad as system wars - just liking one thing and trashing another thing because you don't personally agree with it - even if you have ZERO experience with whatever it is you're talking about.
Fanboys are so annoying - "It's a Nolan Movie - it HAS to be good. Anyone who doesn't like it must be an idiot."
~Right...

... Dumbass reasons? Thats his opinion and I agree to an extent.. I had to stop watching the third movie because it broke down into CGI porn of seeing another stupid battle where we get to see tens of thousands of horses rush into a group of guys...

I heard they fixed the fps. At least for what they showed at Comic con.and that's a legitimate reason..I have no issue with that..it was indeed CGI heavy....but pretentious is not a way one would describe the books or the movies....... It was for what they showed. I think it was IGN writing about it. They said it was back down to normal.[QUOTE="sune_Gem"]

The Hobbit Comic-Con reel was 2D and 24fps because they wanted to avoid the April situation where everyone wrote about framerate but nothing about the actual content.
Baranga
I plan on watching it in 2D anyway. Same with Batman and just about every film to every get released.
