Will it be fun like Nolan's Batman Trilogy? Got bored with Zack Snyder's Batman in the justice league movies.
Well?

Found it very boring. Didn't like the Batman. Riddler some generic serial killer icel, Joker again Zzz...
Going to copy and paste what I wrote in the other thread....
First half was shit, but second half was alright. Didn't care for the performances, costume/vehicle designs, and overall pacing and cinematography. Didn't really do anything for me. Worst Batman movie since Batman & Robin. Robert Pattinson does not pull off Batman or Bruce Wayne. He is a little girly man who usually looks like he is about to cry. Not convincing at all. I don't want this adaptation to continue on in any form. Get rid of everybody involved and start again at some point in the future.
Its boooring. 3 hour boring.
Robert pattinson is worst batman. just watch Batman begins and Dark knight.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for Batman to do a ton of Batman-ing around the city you'll probably come away disappointed. It's kind of set in the "Batman Year 2" timeframe and feels more like half a detective noir than a superhero movie. I actually really liked that about it, and it's critical reviews are pretty positive.
I liked it. Much bigger focus on the detective work side of things, which kinda got lost in the other big screen adaptations. Probably the most realistic too, as far as super hero movies go anyway. Things don't get too outlandish, at least until the final act, and I considered that a plus. I think Batman is more suited to smaller scale stories, and this was the first of his movies to (mostly) go that route.
It's not perfect. Robert Pattinson looks a little too much like Robert Smith when the mask comes off, and some of the "I am vengeance!" stuff is a bit much, but it's a solid film noir detective story.
I liked the movie and while it was long, it kept me interested.

You say that like it's a bad thing.
I liked it. It focuses more on the more interesting parts of batman, which is his detective work.
He is less of a thug, and more of a detective. I hope that continues.
Can't say agree with this, probably at his most thuggish in this movie outside of Zack Snyder.
Batman is typically presented as a Ninja than someone whaling on bad on guys and walking into bullets, he generally avoids hurting the police as well.
Even when Burton ignores the source material he does arguably kill in something like Returns, it's presented as a gag than a tantrum.
It's in HBO Max just haven't mustered the will to actually watch it yet. Generally live action DC is pretty hit and miss with me, but I enjoy some of the animated movies.
I watched it last night. I thought it was a a decent film, I would say I enjoyed it.
It’s a much more down to earth and realistic Batman film, although the villains are still somewhat cartoonish.
Despite my initial concerns, Patterson makes a good Batman.
Key takeaways, Batman saves a helpless Asian man, the only Russian is basically a prostitute, an honest cop is ethnically black, a Caucasian group of incel-ish, far-right-esque group follows a mental serial killing Riddler.
I saw it in theaters and found it interesting for having Batman use his detective skills. Robert Pattinson really impressed me as Batman especially the fight scenes between the villains.

Did he play a good Bruce Wayne?

Have you watched it? I guess not yet.
He doesn't spend much time as Batman.
What am I getting at...just pointing out the political undertone of the movie / how America perceives itself and the world.
