It apparently had an 80 million dollar budget. Makes me wonder if 39 million is really all that good given that it will most likely drop off. Between dvds and international release it will probably recoup it all.

@Master_Live:

Not untill you give your thoughts on Last week's Baustia vs Odor and early surprises/disappointments in 2016 MLB season.

Some Statistics are usually wrong and used for fear mongering.

It just didn't get my attention in that way to go see it ? I mean the game is not really like a game with a story ? I can only imagine it as a cartoon like with just funnies.

Well, I just spent nearly 3 weeks without internet and cable at home so I feel like a whole lot has happened since. Even now I have yet to watch a game.

  • When I first heard about the Odor/Bautista fight I thought: "ah, here we go again, a fight were no one lands a punch and all they do is push and shove". Woops, that wasn't the case, what a punch! Damn! I think the suspension was about right, maybe a tad bit light; you simply can't have players punching each other like that.

With the caveat that we have only played 28% of the season an everything can change:

  • I will start with the NL which seemed to me in spring training like the more easier league to predict and it hasn't really surprised me aside from the early Philly run and perhaps the Rockies not being as horrible so far (mostly due to Trevor Story historic start which is unlikely to continue).
  • As for the AL: Astros? Yikes. It seems Keuchel has reverted back into a pumpkin. And that Ken Giles trade is not looking too hot right now. White Sox with a good start, Sale's coming out party. Nice to see the Indians back in the map with their pitching. The AL East is what I thought it would be: a free for all. Yanks should look to the future with Severino, Bird and Judge and be glad that this is the last year of Teixeira and Sabathia's contract.
