ISIS approaches strategic Deir Ezzor Military Airport.

"The situation in Deir Ezzor is not in favor of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) at the moment, as the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) inches closer to the strategic military airport at the outskirts of the provincial capital.

On Wednesday night, the Islamic State terrorists managed to capture the Syrian Arab Army's last points at the Thardeh Mountains, leaving them within striking distance of the Deir Ezzor Military Airport's western perimeter for the first time in this war."

You can bet a no fly zone is a like wet dream to ISIS and rebel Jihadists. Well it seems ISIS has an air force now.

Honestly, you can't believe that airstrike was a mistake. In fact none of these "accidental" airstrikes are accidental. They made similar "mistakes" in Iraq hitting Iraqi security forces to slow them down and let ISIS retreat and retrieve some of its men. The longer they can keep ISIS functioning without letting it spread too much, the higher the chance they will have to take all the credit for themselves when ISIS is destroyed and leave Russia and others with no reputation gained.

@alim298: They dont want us to help, well destroy them both. We are at war with both. While ISIS is in Syria fighting, were trying to kick them out of Iraq. We have been making great progress in Iraq.

No you're not at war with the people fighting in Deir al-Zur. Those people aren't fighting your "moderate" rebels. They aren't killing "their own people". Deir al-Zurr, since pretty much the start was surrounded by ISIS not by any rebel faction. The Arabs and others who are fighting there are fighting the ISIS. By striking a place surrounded by ISIS, you effectively are helping ISIS take it.

US has no business in Syria. Other than aid to refugees, they should get out.

The end of the line for your cure terrorists is coming soon. Unless u prefer to have a war with Russia over Syria.

As for dictators ironic i dont see you complaining about the pro Saudi American gov dictator massacring civilians in Yemen with banned American bombs that were used in the bombing of Serbia.

@CommandoAgent: Yemen called for that coalition of 9 nations to help save them. So 9 nations are working together to fight the Yemen opposition. They are not at war with Yemen, they are helping the leader of Yemen.

And millions are migrating out of Syria, plus million of refugees are fleeing Syria, plus a big part of the SAA broke and formed the FSA. Its a civil war where the majority are trying to overthrow the minority ruler Assad. And they would have won if it wasnt for the Dictator Russia fearing it would lose its ports.

Which, they will lose them. Its just a matter of time. That clock is ticking. And lol at America starting the war. America cant brainwash them people like that. America cant cause all them millions to flee. You cray cray. Lay off the conspiracy pipe mate.

No, I'm afraid it's @CommandoAgent who is correct.

There was never a civil war in Syria. It's been a crude "regime-change-by-proxy" effort from the start.

At the outset of the conflict, the so-called "Free Syrian Army" was just a bunch of bribed and/or opportunistic turncoats that was supposed to constitute the armed wing of the Syrian National Council.

But the Syrian National Council itself was nothing more than a classic, unelected "government in exile" that was created by Western nations in the hope that it would become a viable puppet government. Its most senior member was a damn Parisian sociology professor who had been living in France since 1969!

Now that the FSA is hopelessly infiltrated by Islamists, there's no point in making any distinction between it and the Al Nusra Front (or whatever it's being called since the most recent rebranding).

The time has come for Putin and Assad to bomb the FSA as freely, as openly and as unapologetically as they would bomb any other terrorist group.

Dont bother with the dude. Thread after thread on religion, and geopolitics, he brings these Chomskyesque, uber simplistic arguments where it seems all the profundity is lost on him..

Par for the course, the idiots in the US govt/military arming their terrorist "enemies", funding them, and supporting them...it's disgusting. Hillary would surely be proud.
