This is a bit offensive. People should be free to believe in whatever they want.

But you don't get it! Everything you believe in is an elaborate plot by some woman who believes in Lucifer (evil) to destroy Christianity (good)! :o
The amazing thing is that she is still alive in Georgia! In 1880 Alice Bailey was born, the leadership to further Lucifer's plans (via Theosophy) was transferred to her.

Well this woman should be where she belongs... In the kitchen! :PJokes, jokes.
I agree with 1, 4, 5, 6 (any form of relationship is fine to me as long as they are consenting adults), I don't really understand 7, I don't get what 8 has to do with religion, I agree with 9, and I partially agree with 10 in that I think the church needs to evolve with the beliefs of mankind instead of being stuck in the 11th century.
So....what was the point of this thread? Seems like Alice Bailey was a fairly smart person.
I don't understand why people hate Christianity, even if most Christians can annoy you occasionally. Regardless if you believe in God or not, you shouldn't try to ruin other people's lives just by removing Christian aspects of our country.
Correct me if I'm wrong but in the US Christians seem to have as strong an influence as ever in government. In fact its a rather negative influence since it is the christian right that opposes a health care plan. They even prayed to god on tv to help them defeat the bill after it passed in the House.Diablo-B
Theres also those neat instances of the catholic church threatening to punish charities if gay marriage passes in specific states.

If said aspects are infringing on my rights and beliefs, yes I should. There is no reason why christian beliefs should be given presedence over all others and that laws or policies should be shaped on them. If you think they should, good for you. But I will fight them.
I'm all for your right to practice your religion and go to church. But when you start trying to force children who arn't yours to pray in school, or ban things that don't affect you because "God wants it", thats when I will fight back.

Have you tried watching "The Hard Truth" on youtube?Your point being? You can never change a person's faith so stop trying. I'm atheist, but i hate it when people try so hard to prove or dissprove god

Fair enough. I'm just curious, but do you think that having "In God We Trust" on coins is infringing on your rights and beliefs?

By basically confirming a state sponsored belief in one deity.
I personally don't care if it's on the coins or money, it won't mean a thing to me if it stays or is removed but I do believe it basically confirms a state sponsored deity.
Either way I'm not going to start petitions to remove it. It doesn't matter to me. I have more of a beef with the pledge and only then, because one is generally required to say it.
On the flip side, why is it so important that the phrase stay on money? It doesn't matter to me but to some it seems really important and I don't get why.
