Parts feel familiar to ET (interactions between kids in the group while making their film), but this is no ET.

The creature is a genuine threat, and ***** goes down at times. It has light horror elements comparable to Jurassic Park

Like the train wreak, OMG if you see the movie see it in a theater with good sound. You feel like you are in the middle of it all.
