Is an opinion a statement? what is a statement? and what's the difference between an opinion and a statement, and are they inseperable ? What's the difference between a guess, and a opinion, and are opinions and guesses inseperable aswell ?

Sometimes an opinion can be supported enough to seem like a statement. For example: Rouge Warrior is one of the worst video games of all time. It's an opinion backed up with review scores and the fact that absolutely nobody has praised it as good.

An opinion is not strictly a statement because it cannot be proven/disproven, however it might be described as a statement because it is a "declaration or remark"("I like pie"), but an opinion should not be able to be proved or disproved as it is simply a subjective point of view and has no objective state. If it can be proved or disproved then the argument for/against it isn't logical, or your "opinion" was in fact a statement ("I think the Earth is flat"). Statements can be proved or disproved through supporting evidence and discussions ("Such and such shows that this is/is not the case"). A guess is a statement which has no current merit to it because it has no supporting evidence to make it true or untrue, but can be proven/disproven through observation. In otherwords, a guess is an untested statement. A guess is not an opinion because its validity can be proven or disproven.

I am sure there are much different ways to explain it.

Actually, isn't "I like boobs" a statement? An opinion would be "Boobs are nice", but you are declaring that you do, in fact, like boobs.

A statement is pretty much anything. If you state it, it's a statement. "The Earth is flat." is a statement - an incorrect one, but a statement nonetheless.

I think you're mixing up "statement" with "fact". Those things are much more elusive.

"Go make a statement in the world, regardless of other people's opinions of you."
