Lol Star Wars is doomed. Mandalorian was a fluke. Obi Wan may not see the light of day and if it does it will be tragic. Disney wars is a failure and Star Wars was never that good anyways

Sounds good to me, the tv shows have been better for well over a decade.

For the most part I like the new movies, but even I feel like they should take a break and regroup. They tried to be Marvel right out the gate, forgetting that Marvel spent years slowly building it's universe and had time to recover from initial missteps. They should spend a few years developing a few one-off movies, then maybe build a new trilogy on the back of the one-offs that work best.

With the exception of the abortion known as the holiday special, the numerous television shows were much better than what we have seen on the big screen in the past twenty years or so.

That's fine with me. Seriously.

With the exception of the excellent Rogue One, the best Star Wars material since Episode I was released have been the shows. The Clone Wars, Rebels, the Mandalorian....all so so so so SO much better than the movies.

How was Mandalorian a fluke? It was more or less universally loved.

Why might Obi Wan not see the light of day?

And how on earth is Star Wars "doomed"?

Meh. I wouldn't resub to Disney Plus to watch Mandalorian season 2 and I've already sworn off CG animation until Disney makes traditional again. Clone Wars never looked visually attractive to me, unlike Genndy's series.
