Star Wars Comic Issue #1 Hype & Discussion Thread

Star Wars Issue #1 is the reboot of the Star Wars comics line. The EU comics (which is now non-canon) had been printed by Dark Horse Comics for years, but now it is in the hands of Marvel comics and will be starting from scratch and will be part of canon.

The comic will take place after A New Hope and before The Empire Strikes Back

Anyone else planning to buy and read this? I,myself, am super excited and I plan to pick it up tomorrow or on Thursday.

Already have mine on preorder. I'm not a hardcore comic fan, but I love anything Star Wars.

I might catch the compilation if it gets good reviews.

I think I like this the better, reminiscent of the old posters.

I expect a sudden wave of euphoria to sweep the states and any other place where the franchise managed to take root.
A Star Wars comics..some of you guys must be hyped beyond expression.

And it's canon, which makes it even more exciting.

Not really liking the art work. It's anatomically grounded to the point the artist is directly using reference: which is boring.
