You seemed to have forgotten Peter Parker. It's not like he was a significant character and all that, so I can understand you not adding him to the list. :|

The actor for peter parker was better at least. But yeah, for the most part the cast isn't even on the same level.

Have to admit the new version of spiderman was good. In parts it was pretty awful, like that crane scene. However I think alot of people dislike the new spiderman because of how peter parker is in this one. Before he was pretty much a nerdy wimp who didnt do anything etc, now he is basically a "hipster"/cool sk8r guy who has feelings... So its understandable why if you like the super nerdy type you would prefer the first spiderman films.

In all honesty I think if they cut the crap out of this production it would have been an great film. Not on level with iron man or the avengers etc but thats down to the casting. I was kinda supprised at how weak emma stones character was, I was expecting more from her role.

Well, this, and I also think Emma Stone is a MUCH better love interest actress then Kirsten Dunst, Bryce Dallas Howard is pretty nice but she's much better with red hair (as is Emma Stone, though her blonde hair is supposedly natural) and Gwen in Raimi's Spider-Man movies was NOT presented properly.

This one is closer (still way off) to canon. The Ramey movie was awesome though, even with the liberties that they took with the history.

Much prefer Andrew Garfield's Parker, the rest of the cast was fine, the film felt a bit underdeveloped low, I guess they didn't want to go over to much old ground but was needed. Plus would have loved a bit more on Connor's motives on what he was doing maybe emphasise the split personality more than they did.

Plus after Spiderman 3 the only was is up.

Somehow, even though it was a blatant cash grab, I liked the Amazing Spiderman better. Uncle Ben would be the Illusive Man, so manipulative.

I liked Sally Field, I thought she did a good job, and of course Maguire sucked as Spiderman, so Garfield greatly improved on that, and what can I say I love Emma Stone in everything she's in.

I haven't seen amazing yet, but I don't know why Maguire gets so much flak. He was geeky and a bit awkward... traits that remind me of what Peter Parker is like (based on the 90s cartoon). Emo man in Spidey 3 was more of a problem with the script.

It's actually the other way around. Amazing Spiderman has a much better cast.

Garfield is a much better Spiderman than Toby, who does an okay job but overall isn't that great. Aunt May is a toss up because both are serviceable and aren't even in the movies much. Amazing Spiderman has a better Uncle Ben though, Sheen does a much better job.

Flash is a toss up for me again, because both are barely in the film and the performances are similar. And going by 'female lead' Amazing Spiderman has a huge advantage with Emma Stone over Kirsten Dunst. It's a mile-wide difference.

I'll admit Dafoe makes a great villain, but Ifans does a good job and he plays a more interesting enemy in The Lizard.

Amazing Spiderman also gets a good performance from Dennis Leary, even though he is a secondary character and isn't in the movie much.

Spiderman 1 was the best of that trilogy and it was a pretty average film.

Yeah I thought he did a pretty good job representing the 90's cartoon spiderman. Did you guys not watch the 90's cartoon? I like that spiderman more then the one in the comic books.

You're going to have to elaborate on that one. The only thing I missed was no JK Simmons, seriously next movie just bring him back as J Jonah Jameson, I don't care if it's confusing he needs to be in anything Spiderman related.

I liked the original Spiderman more to be honest. The Amazing Spiderman wasn't that bad, but it didn't really fell that much of a Spiderman movie. The movie was more about Peter X Gwen than about the actual Spiderman and the villain.

In the original one, they only showed little scenes with Peter X Mary and focussed a lot more on Spiderman and the villain.

Also, Green Goblin >>>> that lame Lizard character

Andrew Garfield was much better at playing the awkward teenager Peter Parker; while Tobey Macguire was the "awkward teenager just kidding he's not that awkward, but look, he's a geek and you can tell because he wears glasses" Peter Parker.

Aunt may looks too young in the amazing spider-man, and Uncle Ben shouldn't have glasses. Maybe in the next spider-man reboot, Uncle ben will look like this:

And good thing you clarified that you don't mean the fighting Anderson Silva sucks, or else he'de beat your butt so bad you wouldn't be able to attend stolen land rallies or tell if a person is black or white based on their voice ever again.

Harry's just mad because the Greengoblin isn't in the new film, though James Franco would probably be better off doing some role in the new movie rather than going on General Hospital or being an English Teacher.

Harry's just mad because the Greengoblin isn't in the new film, though James Franco would probably be better off doing some role in the new movie rather than going on General Hospital or being an English Teacher.

Will Harry Osborn appear in the sequels, I wonder?
