So the golden globes winners were a little shocking.

I am glad that Mo'nique won for best actress though. But then what kinda confused me was that Avatar won (although it was still a good movie though). I saw the highly speculated "Sherlock Holmes" got a couple of awards, but I am so confused how Avatar (action movie) not only was nominated, but won, yet, The Dark Knight (a way better action movie) last year wasnt even nominated.

Another shocker was "The Hangover" won. I am really looking forward to getting that movie now.

I noticed they catered to a more, shall I say, mainstream audience. Honestly, The Hangover over 500 Days of Summer is a travesty. Avatar over such films as The Hurt Locker and Up in the Air and Inglourious Basterds? A joke. Last time I'll be watching the Golden Globes.

There's always the Academy...like that's any better though.

Not to mention they gave Sandra Bullock the award for Best Actress. A film that is the sixth highest grossing sports film of all time.
