I beg to differ...

Yesterday was our wettest day. Freeways became lakes, roads became ponds. People took their boat to work. Schools closed, the entire city was in panic. Just thought I'd share.

Only time I went to Arizona I drove right down to Mexico into Nagoles to see clients and when I went back to the US side to drive the airport there was a huge thunderstorm with crazy lightning everywhere.

Yeah, there were people in my neighborhood using canoes in the flooded parks. It does not rain often, but when it does it can really pour and flood quickly.

i still say it is dry.

AZ avg rainfall is around 23 inches per year which is around one quarter to one sixth the rain most of the non desert states get.

one day does not an average make.
