So, my older brother told my Mom that. My brother, that lives with my Mom and Dad now (since he has no where to live anymore, along with his girlfriend), so yeah. What should I tell my Mom, or anyone in the house, about this? She kinda feels down that my older brother told her that (she's thinking about going ot her Moms house), and he's usually the one that gives no respect with anyone, other then himself, and this is coming from a person (older brother) that already got kids with his girlfriend (Yes, he has 2 kids already). What should I do?

Well if thats how he truly feels, I'd tell him to GTFO of the house and find somewhere else to live.

Is your Mom financially supporting your brother, his girlfriend and their two children?

If so, I would expect a bit more gratitude and humility from your brother!

Well, is it true? If so, talk to her about it, if not tell her that your older brother didn't mean it.

My brother also had a kid when he was 24, but my father was smart and kick him out of our house, you might say that was a bit insensitive, but now he's payig for his own house and living with his two kids and wife. If my father would've done something differently he would've never matured. So that's my advice kick him out of the house, they have no legal rights with him anymore it's not like he were 15.

Tell your bro :

1) that if your mom is the reason why he feels miserable, then he should move to another place. You know, LIVE BY USING HIS MONEY INSTEAD OF MOOCHING OF PARENTS?!?! 24 years old, has kids but unmarried, probably unemployed and has the nerve to to complain.

2) to get married. 2 kids already, and still can't commit to his girlfriend?

I'm surprised that your family tolerated him this long. Boot his ass outta the home. Tell him to act his age and not his shoe size.

It's time for your mom to put your brother out. If he can't respect the person's whose roof he is living under he should be there

Hit him with a hadouken. Nothing like throwing random firebals to instill fear and force him to leave.

But in all seriousness, talk to your mother and also talk to your brother. If they both feel they can't resolve issues then he needs to take his family and leave and find a place of his own. If it's so "miserable" there, then why doesn't he (as well as your mother) just do the sensible thing and cut the apron strings? It's her home, she shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable in her own house.

Hes probably the one making everyone miserable if hes still living with his parents at 24 with 2 kids and his girlfriend (not wife, girlfriend)
So you couldn't blame Mom if she is making everyone miserable, thats a grandmothers nightmare. No mother says "I want my kids to be like that when they grow up."

Shes under the pressure of having to play the role of Mom for not just him but his kids an GF 24/7. No old lady wants that. She always assumed she would get to be a grandmother.

This is what she envisioned of your brother at his age with 2 kids an a girl. "Oh, when my son grows up, its going to be so wonderful. He will have a decent job and house, have a wife, and two beautiful children that I will be able to spoil when I come over to visit. Me an hubby will be able to take that vacation to Florida every year and bask in the sun and enjoy our retirement money."

Your brothers position in life has effectively shattered her dreams. Now shes jaded, and you can't blame her.

Not passing judgement, its hard times and even in good times things can happen that set you back, but thats just how I think the situation is from her point of view. If your brother can't see & respect that, hes probably in denial or selfish.

Tell your brother to man up and take care of his own family. I'm okay with people living with their parents (it's normal in mexico) but you've gotta treat your parents with respect and if not you're on your own.

Hell, I'd kick him out. Better stop it short before it grows out of control because I would not want a son who'd be dependant at that age and already with kids. Not to say I would not try to help family out when needed, because everyone goes through tough times, but you can't let it go out of control. My step-dad's sons and his other relatives took advantage of his parents and now my step-dad's mom (father passed away last year) doesn't have all that money to live very comfortably because the younger generation are all moochers. My step-dad is smart and recognized how pathetic his kids have become and he does not help them at all because they can't help themselves. And even more importantly, if your brother can't show respect after how his parents are helping him out, then he deserves to be kicked out.

It's not normal in the places I know of. The kids may even move out at the age of 15 and their parents wouldn't care at all.

On subject, I think it's time for you to challenge him to a duel.

Your duty as a brother is to not only stand up for and comfort your mother but to try to regulate your family which also means controlling your brother who appears to not know his place. Seems like your brother, his girlfriend and kids should move out if they cant respect the owner of the house if its really that bad.
