ignore lonewolf and see my answer above if your speech really is worth 25% of your grade then i suggest you take my advice since that is too much credit to miss out on

or since you said you have notes you could act likea college person and pull an all nighter yes they do suck but hey you have a good story to tell your friends the next day
You can't do any worse than I did. Sophmore year of high school I had to give a 10 minute speech on gun control. Anyway, I volunteered to go first. For some strange reason, its something I would never do, I think I was trying to impress these cheerleaders. Anyway, I didn't even have note cards, I was confident I had the thing memorized. So I start my speech, staring off into space, and am doing well until about 2 minutes in I just go blank. I stop, try and start, fail, try and start again, fail again. Then I'm just standing there, looking at the teacher like a dumbass. I flat out tell him that I can't go on and sit back down. I had to give the speech again the following day, I was so nervous I pretty much just read the damn thing off my note cards and skipped over half of it. So, good luck with that.
best advice u will ever get: Be the 1st one to present reason is the teacher wont really have a standard to compare ur grade to other studes if u go later on so u have a better chance of a higher grade if she grades it as u do it

I'll make you feel better. I've got a 3hour 15minute year 12 english exam tomorrow, where you have to write 2x800 word essays and 2x400 word essays (2 on texts and 2 on issues) and the exam contributes %50 of my total grade for the subject. So don't stress, leave that to me :)
Well, at least you got a lesson in responsibility. See, you're lucky that being unprepared this time will only cost you some marks. In the future, not doing your homework may cost you your job. Next time, start the project earlier. Do it a little bit at a time, so that it never seems overwhelming.
