I think he is awesome, but the real awesome actor is Nick Frost. In every movie and TV show, Nick Frost is a different character while Simon Pegg doesnt chance much. Nick Frost isnt even a trained actor, he was a waiter before Pegg found him. I think Nick Frost is more awesome than Simon Pegg anyday, do you agree or disagree?

After Shaun of the Dead I checked out more of him and I say he isn't getting praised enough.

Both are funny guys. Other than Apatow-movies (specifically 40-Year Old Virgin, Anchorman, Superbad and Knocked Up), I find the Pegg/Frost movies to be the funniest stuff around.

I couldn't agree more. I love Simon Pegg, but if it wasn't for Nick Frost, he wouldn't be anything. It's only when the two interact that Simon ever really shines. Fortunately, I read somewhere that they're working on a movie together again, and this time Nick is the lead.

I like them both, but Nick's just not as awesome as Simon. IMO.

Simon Pegg also writes a lot of the jokes so that evens them out.

Simon Pegg is very funny IMO. Hey, did you finish reading that script buddy? I nearly forgot about that.

I think they're both great, but i do prefer Simon Pegg. He was perfect in 'Spaced', as was Nick Frost, but Pegg gets extra points for actually co-writing the show.

This is their only movie I have seen. I liked it a lot. I don't really care what he's doing in other projects (not until I see them anyway).

From that movie though Pegg had a more interesting character. Frosts was just "Oh look at me on the phone, I'm sorry. No. I'm sorry." I only like that character because of the scenario. Pegg's character is funny in general.

But that doesn't reflect their acting skills at all, making my post totally irrelevent.

Spaced (still being the best thing the Pegg crowd has put together) was written by Pegg and Jessica Stevenson. In comedy I don't think we should measure these characters by their acting, because first and foremost is the writing, hence Pegg deserves the praise he receives from a writing stand point. His ventures into acting outside of his own written works have been pretty appalling, but similar can be said of Frost. Man/Woman being a good example.

Until Simon Pegg becomes supreme ruler of the world, he will never get enough praise.

I think you have this the wrong way round... Taking Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead as examples, Nick Frost basically plays the same guy - a blithering idiot. Simon Pegg's characters do differ in the two films, although I can see some similarities.
