Cloud Atlas isn't getting as good of reviews as I had hoped, but I'll still probably enjoy it. Silent Hill looks potentially enjoyable in a cheesy sort of way.

Even with the admittedly disappointing reviews for Cloud Atlas, (Yeah I had pretty high hopes for it), I still expect it to be better than Silent Hill.
It could still be rather enjoyable. A lot of the complaints were based on it's format (montage like, over a vast period of time, with multiple subplots).Even with the admittedly disappointing reviews for Cloud Atlas, (Yeah I had pretty high hopes for it), I still expect it to be better than Silent Hill.

if i had to choose, id say Silent Hill.
Cloud Atlas just looks weird and didnt really grab my interest.
never seen none of the silent hill movies, but looks better that cloud atlas to me.
Can't you just do both?
See one now,and rent the other one on DVD/BD when it's out.(or watch online)
Simple.

just my assumption.
he has the money to see one movie(movies nowadays are expensive. its like 9 bucks here to watch a movie, i dont even get a drink or anything)
and he is conflicted on which one he wants to see.
thus, this topic.
and him doing both would mean he gets to watch both movies in the theatres. so no, he cant "just do both".
Something tells me Silent Hill is going to suck. I don't know why because I loved the first, but I don't know the trailer makes me think that this is a movie that I should just pretend never happened.
[QUOTE="hippiesanta"]you guys shouldn't be here in gamespot if going to watch tom hanksmuller39What's your beef with Tom Hanks. He's great. he's not ... he's one dimensional actor ........ never see him acting as a metalhead or epic fighting movie
