Probably not the question you were thinking of but i just ordered an amd phenom II x4 black edition online, i was wondering should i install a different heatsink than the one that comes with it, i was reading some reviews and one person said it runs hot, i have an am2+ motherboard so i dont know if that will effect anything.

There's a board for this. PC Hardware Discussion or something. You'll get a legit answer there. You'll get answers like "bananas!" and "shoop shoop schoobity boop!" here.

Use liquid cooling with a super fluid as the coolant.

Yeah, this. And if you're not sure your cooling is efficient, don't overclock.

wrong forum, but you only need to get a new heatsink if you attempt to overclock.

Everyone knows that AMDs burn up after only a month or two if you only use the stock cooling. Some people get by with just 3rd party heat-sink fans, but most usually make the invesment into liquid nitrogen cooling. Its the only way to be sure.
